"Horrible customer service and timing with this whole project of installing our water softener. Tech were always late by like 1-3 hours. We are on our 2nd Friday in a row and the work is still not done. The first Friday they showed up unannounced and the lady Dominique argued with me over the phone about her scheduling them. She was unprofessional and rude. The excuses they have for being late were Covid, warehouse was locked or a tech was not on time. Mind you we have to stay home all day and get nothing done because they need access to the house inside. The manager will not call me back. We have paid in advance and it?s been a mess. Work is still not done. Dominique still argues with us about excuses on why things are delayed. I could recommend this company to anyone. The techs that are here even said the office in San Antonio always get them in a bind with the homeowners and they have to take the raft of it all. Fix your customer service and stop calling customers the morning of to tell us there is a 3 hour delay and your techs show up 4 hours late and the work carries into another week."

"I cannot recommend Michael Di Rienzo with CanTex Developers highly enough! After a previous contractor left our master shower in a complete mess, Michael stepped in and completely transformed the situation. From the very beginning, he was professional, honest, and incredibly attentive to what we wanted. He truly listened, offered thoughtful guidance, and executed our vision flawlessly. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional — every aspect of the shower was done with precision and care. Not only did he correct the existing issues, but he elevated the entire space beyond what we originally imagined. He completed the project in a timely manner, maintained a clean and organized workspace, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. The final result exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier. We will absolutely be hiring Michael again for future projects. If you’re looking for quality work done right the first time, he’s the one to call."

"Trinity Roofing & Restoration is a company you can definitely trust. I highly recommend Adrienne and her top-level working crews. I was in dire need of a new home roof and Trinity was one of my original contacts. I was personally impressed with Adrienne when I first met and talked to her; she climbed on top of my two-story roof, along with her roof inspector. Their inspection was performed prior to my actual insurance company’s roof inspection. Both inspections found my roof had suffered substantial hail/wind damage that needed to be replaced and not repaired. I designated Adrienne to work and speak on my behalf with my insurance company. Due to her professional and diligent efforts, I was able to get my roof claim immediately processed/approved through my insurance company’s adjuster. Also, I had some visible water damage to my ceilings, and she got those supplemental repairs approved as part of the roof claim. Adrienne saved me thousands of dollars. I would not hesitate to call Trinity Roofing & Restoration for any of my future exterior and interior home projects!"

FAQs for walk in tub installation and replacement projects in Castroville, TX

Because Medicare classifies walk-in tubs as non-durable medical equipment, it generally won’t pick up the tab. Medicaid can help if a doctor certifies that the tub is medically necessary, but rules change by state. Call your plan early, ask which forms you need, and keep any prescriptions or letters on file to improve your odds of reimbursement.

A walk-in bathtub’s fill and drain times hinge on your home’s water pressure and the tub’s hardware. Most models with a fast-fill faucet need about six to eight minutes to fill and two to three minutes to drain; larger basins or standard drains can tack on an extra 10 minutes. Stay seated until the water is completely gone so you don’t swing the door open on a full tub’s worth of water.

A walk-in bathtub holds 50 gallons of water, and its design supports capacities that range from 40 to 80 gallons, depending on the product. In contrast, a standard bathtub holds 25 to 45 gallons. This capacity is determined by the fixed design of the tub and its construction materials. Homeowners should review the detailed product specifications to confirm the exact volume available for use during bath time.

Walk-in tubs are tax-deductible when the purchase qualifies as a necessary medical expense and meets the IRS criteria. Caregivers who install a walk-in tub also qualify for the Dependent Care Tax Credit under specific conditions. Homeowners must verify these requirements with the IRS and consult a tax professional, as state and program guidelines enforce strict documentation standards for such deductions.
