"Mr. Sanford and his team were very courteous and professional. They replaced over 15 windows in our house with energy efficient windows that have an excellent warranty. They repaired some wood rot under one of the old windows before installing the new window without hesitation and removed all debris upon completion."

"I noticed water trickling around a vent pipe in my attic during a rain storm. I also noticed water leaking around an area near some soffits over my garage that I had replaced the day before. I looked at the reviews on Angie's list and Mr. Guyette's business got very favorable ratings. I called his office and the receptionist said he would get back with me either that day or the next. After I returned home that evening from work he was already parked by the curb and apparently had been in the process of leaving a note on my door. I got his attention and we talked. I showed him the issues and he said they could effect repairs that week. In fact his crew came out the next afternoon and got everything patched up. Wow! what great service! Mr. Guyette was very professional and reassuring. He took care of the problem expeditiously. He also provided me with an estimate for a new roof (which I will probably replace in the near future). I would definitely use him again."

"The screened porch was just like adding a room addition on to the back of my home, it took some time, but it was well worth it. Everyone who worked on the project was courteous and professional, there was always good communication and attention to detail. I love my addition and best of all it looks like it has always been a part of my home.

The second smaller job in the master bath was handled with the same attention to detail, making sure that everything was done correctly. I have other projects planned for the future, so it is nice to know I can count on Mike from Allied Construction Services."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Cecil, AL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
