"We had issues with water leaking into the basement after heavy rainfall and called SunDry to give us a quote for water proofing. The job was completed and two days later it rained and our basement flooded... the sales rep, Mario, came back out and said they didnt make the flange tall enough in one corner, so the contractors came back and fixed it and it was covered under the warranty. Why they didnt do it right the first time I am not sure. Everyone considering using this company must be careful of Mario. He is a classic salesman ready to tell you exactly what you need to hear to make a sale, so be VERY careful trusting everything he is telling you. He walked around our house and pointed at random cracks and splits and said we needed foundation piers or our house is going to sink. He quoted us $5600 for the job and said it would save us money if we did it during waterproofing. We called a foundation engineer for a second opinion and were told our house was perfectly fine and in no need for foundation piers. Also be wary of the cost for put back of the dry wall/studs/finishings after the waterproofing. Sundry does not do this part of the job and will tell you it will only cost a few hundred bucks...it is not. We got a quote for $1100 from the guy that Mario referred and the price didnt even include putting the laminate flooring back. Mario was calling us every week when we first got the quote to schedule the job, but as soon as we needed something from him (to connect us with the guy for put back), he was very unresponsive and didnt stick to his estimated time frames. Marios contractors also left a mess of our basement with cement and dirt stains on our intact flooring. Other than that, the contractors did a great and speedy job and were very kind and professional. All in all, I would recommend them for their pricing is the cheapest of all other vendors we spoke to and they were very quick. I can only hope that they stay around long enough and that our warranty will always cover future leaks/issues."

Robbie came out, looked at my basement and was able to give me a schematic detailing exactly what I needed to have done to get my basement dry and safe. Robbie connected me with Cody, another person at AquaGuard. Cody explained to me that financing was available for anyone who needed it. What a blessing! I did get estimates from other companies, but AquaGuard came in with the highest recommendations and most reasonable price for the extent of work needed. It took 3 full days for the project to be completed and I couldn't have asked for a better team! The men who came out were Raphael (Foreman) , Jared (Co-Foreman), Marcus, and Daniel. They were kind, professional, and courteous. They even allowed me to ask questions as the work progressed. They were kind enough to stop and teach me everything that they were doing. It did not seem to slow their work at all. Even the electrician, David, that AquaGuard sent out to install a designated outlet for the new sump pump was delightful. "Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
