"Dustin C. @ DaBella Boise helped us choose the right windows for our application and personally monitored progress from order to completion. The finished product looks great, but the best part is instantly seeing and feeling the difference between modern tech vs. 40y old aluminum framed windows. No more drafts or condensation! Thanks DaBella!"

"Paramount Pros ended up doing a good job on new gutters, painting wood soffit & fascia, and trim around sliding patio doors. However, they no-showed the first two times I had them scheduled without calling, and took more than a month to complete a fairly simple job, probably because they were waiting on a supplier. I would know for sure if they were better communicators. I had to call and ask questions. I also had to have them come back a couple of times to finish jobs correctly. In the pick two dilemma - price, speed, or quality - they're good for price and quality if you are patient and diligent about following up. If you need it done fast and right the first time, find someone else and be prepared to pay a higher price."

"Hire Dwight and was pleased with all of his services. From the time he called he came as scheduled and followed up immediately with a quote. He kept in constant contact throughout the process. He had two helpers come with him and they knocked out the trim in my basement. He also had to shave to the doors from rubbing on the floor. They did a great job and gave input on how to do closets in another area. He talked to me about other projects we would have to be doing in the future. They're clean up was great and I would definitely hire them again."

"Dave was wonderful in all aspects concerning the repair of our chimney, that was damaged from the earthquake in March 2020. We had several estimates from other companies that seemed more expensive, let alone reasonable.. When we received the quote from Dave we were quite surprised. His estimate was so much less than other company's. We accepted his quote on the spot with out even having to think about it.. The work performed was complete in a timely and professional manner. We were so please, with how dependable Dave was in his follow through on every thing he said would be done. Including when he said the job would be completed.. We believe, it would be in any ones best interest to contact his company if ever needing any chimney repair."

"We have previously tried to find someone to build a brick mailbox for us but have been unsuccessful finding anyone who wanted such a small job. In the last few days, we've found our current mailbox on its side. We knew that the temporary fix would not last so I got busy to find someone who could do the job. I found Adam's listing on Angie's list and reviewed the remarks made from those who submitted a review. We called Adam and he said he was doing a job in our area and would be interested in the job. Adam came to our home and we talked about the options, price, etc. We were pleased when he quoted his price and he also said that we could get our house number that could be attached to the brick. Adam called us and informed us that he could get the same brick our home has which was good news as our home was built about 18 years ago. Adam came to do the job and finished it in one day. He work was excellent. We couldn't be more pleased with our new mailbox. We would highly recommend Adam and his company. This was an excellent find for us, thanks for Angie's list for allowing us to find this provider. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Centerville, UT

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
