"After taking over my uncle's home, I was aware that it needed extensive renovation. I used Angie's list to find some contractors in the area since I didn't know anyone. From the time my wife and I met Jeff and started going through all of the details of the project, we felt very confident in his experience and personality. We had so many questions on how to proceed with a project of this magnitude and Jeff helped us every step of the way. We are continuing to work with Jeff on more of our home improvements and I highly recommend him."

"I had a great experience working with Bryan. He actually showed up when he said he would and had great communication which is hard to find with a contractor. I’m pretty picky and I was happy with his work. Total bathroom gut including subfloor. New everything. Nice tile work. It’s been 6 months and no problems thus far. "

"James and his work crew were very fast, reliable and affordable. Everything was done just as we asked. He wasn't the contractor to push you in a certain direction of things, he took our ideas and made them come true. Our entire house was built in 6 months. He is very professional and conducted business in a professional manner. He is very trustworthy and affordable. If we wanted him to change something, he fixed or changed it with a smile on his face. Definitely have recommended him to family and friends. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Cerulean, KY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
