"Outstanding! Our roof was in need of repair and the stress and worrying about it quickly diminished as soon as Jacob and his crew showed up at our home. The professionalism, knowledge and great attitude of everyone there to work really put our mind at ease. Any question we had about the process was answered thoroughly and with patience. The crew was very punctual, organized and professional. Qualities that are hard to find now a day. All of our expectations on our roof repair were overwhelmingly exceeded. Our family highly recommends Vista Del Sol Construction for any construction project your home may need! Knowing that there are still honest & hardworking people out there makes being a home owner that much easier. We will call Vista Del Sol again with any future home projects."

"Generally polite and always willing to come back and fix what was wrong. Had me purchase the fixtures/ valves independently, but it was a little confusing as I wasn't sure if I was ordering all the proper pieces and the extensive options were overwhelming. I felt like I wasn't getting the best deal but Coronado said they couldn't get a better price than me (no wholesale pricing). They were able to match the tile of the other bathroom which we had remodeled ourselves. <br /> Had to follow closely to make sure details mentioned during estimate process were completed, such as corner shelves. Clean up was a little sloppy. Plumbing (installing shower valves, knobs, heads, etc) was bad. Initially leaky and valves installed incorrectly so the part seen (the water control plate) was backward. <br /> From a distance the project turned out great and price was great. Just try not to look at the valve trim because it's backwards and they couldn't fix it without taking the newly tiled wall apart! <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We needed an area of our roof repaired, so we called Stay Dry because they are local and had good reviews on the community Facebook page. Stay Dry missed their original appointment and there was a lack of communication around rescheduling the appointment. However, they promptly responded to our review and sent their crew leader Brian to fix the roof. Brian was great. We appreciate that Stay-Dry quickly responded to our review."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Chaparral, NM

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
