"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "My husband contacted the insurance company for the claim and inspection. My husbands co-worker recommended EA Roofing and Siding. They had nothing but praise for EA Roofing and Siding.
 We called and spoke with TJ with EA Roofing and Siding  and gave him the inspectors name and number. He coordinated with  inspector. The insurance claim was approved.  The work required three separate teams of expertise which was efficiently coordinated by TJ.  
 
The roofing materials were ordered and delivered within the week of the insurance companies approval. TJ was experienced working with the insurance companies process and payment policy. The roofing workers were scheduled the next week. They showed up at 9 AM as scheduled and worked thru the day until almost 9 PM and the roof was completed. The removal of the old roof is very messy but the property was spotless when the crew left.
 The next order was for the shutter replacement and siding repair. The workers showed up on time and work was completed and again property left neat.
The next order was for interior painting and again the crew showed up at time we were told and completed the work within the day and departed with the property clean.
 We had never had to have this size of a project done before, so you are little apprehensive but working with TJ's professionalism, organizational and communication skills effected a professional, efficient and quality of workmanship. A job well done and to be proud of.

"I contacted Earth Friendly Services this morning and I immediately received a reply.  Phil contacted me and I asked for a proposal for installing my new light.  He responded and said he would be at my home in about 15 - 20 minutes.  His responsiveness was exact. He arrived in about 15 minutes. I showed him the light fixture and he said it was no problem and he could do it today.  I also asked him if he would also install a new electrical outlet in my foyer and again he said no problem.  Phil installed the light fixture and the electrical outlet that day and he did a fantastic job.  He was very professional and the quality of work was awesome.  I was also very pleased on the price.  I have put Earth Friendly Services number in my phone book and I will sure use them again.  Thanks Phil!

They put in a lot of crappy boards. They were the only ones that I found that replied that would put in the fence that I wanted. Most of it was very good, but, of course, on the far side of the yard I found lots of boards that were not up to snuff. Eight years ago they got the fence in. I wasn't there (when they did the work). I would use them again in the future only if I stood over them with a shotgun. They could have used better boards and given me a lighter gauge. I wasn't there for the most part and they were all Hispanic so I've got no idea how the workers were, but the contractor that was watching over them had no complaints.

"Overall, I thought the person that came to my home to give an estimate of the patio we wanted to build was not very professional. She came up with a sketch for the patio which did not incorporate the design ideas that I wanted. She was willing to re-sketch the design 2 times to get it right, but then seemed to get annoyed that I asked questions about the materials that were being used, the options that were available...etc. Granted she may have been having a bad week, but I expected more. Ended up going with a different contractor and glad I did because the quote I got from them was $1000 less and I loved the job they did. 
Overall, I would give them a B-.
