"I hired this company based on reviews from Angie's list.  My experience was a bit different than the A + rating they had.  The answered my call for a quote and arrived on time.  The communicated in Spanish about everything.  We all walked the house together and I pointed out everything that needed painting.  We had a discussion about the master bath, the last words I heard George senior tell me was "we can fix this".  They quoted me a price of $3400.00 and said if I got everything done at once, he would take $200.00 off.  I didn't get other quotes because I just moved in and time was a factor, so I can't really comment on price.  During the week, they dropped of a large paint sample thing to make may choices from.  They arrived early to start the two-day job, a Friday and a Saturday.  They finished the job on Saturday, as promised.  My master bath was not painted, the wood on the steps was not painted, they removed all the drapery hardware and it was tossed out apparently, they took a blind down in the master bedroom and I had to remind many times for them to fix it, they did with crazy glue.  The walls and ceiling are beautiful but the trim is horrible.  I am still painting over spots that were missed or the paint was wiped off when they cleaned the floors.  There was a quarter sized drop of paint on my maple dining room table.  There was a large spot of white trim paint on the colored wall in the hall, but worst of all I continue to clean small spots and areas where there is white paint on the oak floors. They did do me one favor and lift a TV back up above the fireplace that had been taken down for painting. They did leave all the extra paint in the basement, one bucket not closed and has a paint roller floating in it.  The worst thing was them teasing my dogs and getting them agitated and pushing each other towards them and laughing.  Overall, I don't think I had an "A" experience.  Unfortunately I would not recommend them or use them again.

"I had need for a relatively quick turnaround for upgrading of a worn out kitchen.  Called Competitive Painters and Robert Coulter came to discuss options.  I should mention that I had two other companies come to provide estimates.  The owner of one of them, a highly rated Angies List company, spent most of her time telling me that I should talk to a real estate agent about how my kitchen should look.  She had no helpful ideas or suggestions.  In contrast, Mr. Coulter explained several options - including services that his company could not provide.  He pointed me to a reasonably-priced granite counter top provider and Competitive Painters prepared and painted all of the kitchen cabinets.  They worked within my limited time period and coordinated their work with the countertop company.  The work they did was neat and professional.  I was very pleased with the results.

"We received the pads, they are exactly as we ordered, seem to be excellent quality. We would certainly use this company again. The only thing that could be improved is acknowledgement of our order (which we mailed in--almost has to be done this way since one sends a graphic of the table shape with the order). We thought they would probably email us when they received the order and/or let us know about when to expect it to be filled. What did happen was that after a while, we called, and got that confirmation and estimated time over the phone."

"The service went great. Two installers came out and completed the work in less than a day. They were very thorough and neat in their work. They had to move everything out of the garage and made sure to move everything back the way we liked. We have had no trouble at all with the system. We have been able to put it to good use and I feel like the quality of product is very durable. It brightens the garage space and makes everything so much nicer. We have not had to call in for any replacement parts. It was very easy to schedule the service, as well. I have recommended the company to others."

"Bill showed up gave a quote, and would be ready to start the next day.  I held off, but when I called him a week later, he was still ready to go.  His crew knocked out the entire townhouse interior in one day.  He combined paint and primer in one coat.  He was going to use a flat paint, but when I asked for eggshell, he had no problem making the change.

They put drywall mud up where appropriate before painting, knocked out any toggles in walls that used to hold curtain rods.  Their prep work was great.  They even painted closet doors and front door, terrible looking coat rods.  I'd say they did everythign they were supposed to, and a little above and beyond what the average painter would do.  Plus they worked largely unsupervised.

The crew was friendly and efficient.  I highly recommend them."

"Back in April of this year I contacted Honest Exteriors about Replacing Gutter on my home. Rick Stearns called me back right away, we set a time for him to do the estimate and he was there on time. Rick was very nice and professional he explained what his crew was going to do, and how long the job would take. Rick answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and very fair pricing.
Two of Ricks crew members showed up at my place 2 days later on time, Very nice and professional they had my new Gutters up and in less than 2 hours they were fast and efficient. They hauled the old ones away and didn't leave any debris in my yard. Rick made a finale inspection of the new gutters the following day and made sure everything was secure and I had no concerns before the rest of the bill was paid. They do roofing, siding, windows, Doors and  Sunrooms ....I highly recommend Honest Exteriors, I will definitely use them in the future.
