"George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.

"I had need for a relatively quick turnaround for upgrading of a worn out kitchen.  Called Competitive Painters and Robert Coulter came to discuss options.  I should mention that I had two other companies come to provide estimates.  The owner of one of them, a highly rated Angies List company, spent most of her time telling me that I should talk to a real estate agent about how my kitchen should look.  She had no helpful ideas or suggestions.  In contrast, Mr. Coulter explained several options - including services that his company could not provide.  He pointed me to a reasonably-priced granite counter top provider and Competitive Painters prepared and painted all of the kitchen cabinets.  They worked within my limited time period and coordinated their work with the countertop company.  The work they did was neat and professional.  I was very pleased with the results.

"The service went great. Two installers came out and completed the work in less than a day. They were very thorough and neat in their work. They had to move everything out of the garage and made sure to move everything back the way we liked. We have had no trouble at all with the system. We have been able to put it to good use and I feel like the quality of product is very durable. It brightens the garage space and makes everything so much nicer. We have not had to call in for any replacement parts. It was very easy to schedule the service, as well. I have recommended the company to others."

"Bill showed up gave a quote, and would be ready to start the next day.  I held off, but when I called him a week later, he was still ready to go.  His crew knocked out the entire townhouse interior in one day.  He combined paint and primer in one coat.  He was going to use a flat paint, but when I asked for eggshell, he had no problem making the change.

They put drywall mud up where appropriate before painting, knocked out any toggles in walls that used to hold curtain rods.  Their prep work was great.  They even painted closet doors and front door, terrible looking coat rods.  I'd say they did everythign they were supposed to, and a little above and beyond what the average painter would do.  Plus they worked largely unsupervised.

"Met with general manager for our second of three estimates on this project. Chose this company based on product, timeliness and overall cost and convenience. Due to winter install, only one set of doors was installed at a time. The install crew (3) were quite friendly, synchronized, knowledgeable and understandable (English speaking). I asked for all old hardware from old doors (locks, chains, deadbolts) that were handed to me as each was removed to ensure that no mix-up in associated parts occurred. Very minimal time passed between old door and frame removal and new frame install and insulation and a door in place so, I didn't feel that all of the heat in the house was sucked out. Any and all of my questions were answered to satisfaction. The minimal furniture that I had help removing prior to installs were put back in place by the installers (gratis) when each install was completed. Some of our area's worse winter weather was experienced after these doors were installed. We have experienced no cold areas or breezes which lets me know that replacing these doors was a very good investment. A letter of commendation was given to the lead installer upon completion of the final install. I have waited a month to comment on Angie's List so that I could experience the doors first. We are completely satisfied and would definitely use the services of Honest Exteriors again as well as recommending this company to others. My only regret is that I did not have the opportunity to meet with the general contractor after the installations were completed, although, we did confer and followup by phone and email."

"I highly recommend CRG Remodeling and would use them again in an instant. During the entire project, from receiving a quote to the final work, Cornelio was either at the project or constantly checked in. When he wasn?t at the work site, his crew was always extremely respectful and worked VERY hard. At the end of each day, they would always clean up and minimize any impact, since we were still living at the house. Cornelio worked with our schedule and the team would always show up on time.? Since we were on a tight timeline, the team often worked well past 5 pm each night to complete the project on time. We live in a one and a half bath row house and needed to completely renovate both bathrooms. We didn?t want to temporarily move out, but wanted to get them done at the same time. Cornelio worked with us to finish the job in only 9 days, where most contractors said at least two weeks, if not more. More importantly, while both bathrooms were being renovated at the same time, Cornelio made sure his crew would set up a toilet each night before leaving so we could functionally live in the House (we did have to shower at work, but not the worst thing and better then living somewhere temporarily). What I liked most about working with CRG was the follow up. After the remodel was completed, there were just a couple very minor things that needed to be fixed/adjusted. Despite the fact that the project was completed and final payment was received, Cornelio quickly responded and scheduled time to have everything fixed to perfection. Having worked with many other contractors, I am not sure how many would have that much pride in their work to come back and ensure the job is up to their standard."
