"Daniel's Lawn Care has always done a great job with my landscaping. The shrubs and mulch always look great. I had two additional projects this year. One was an edging for the flower beds and the other was a patio. The edging of the flower beds is quite nice and made the beds look terrific. I know the project was tedious but the team always took their time and asked me my preferences along the way. The patio was a special project and I am thrilled with the final outcome. It is beautiful and professional looking. The owner, Brian, and his team were confident, knowledgeable, and caring from start to finish. They answered every question and explained things in detail as the project went on. During one phase of the project something happened beyond their control and they were quick to provide a solution and move forward. I also liked the materials and the methods used to make the patio. Joe didn't just throw down the polymer fill material and use a floor broom to fill in the between the bloc. He put the material down slowly, one bag at a time, and filled in the joints by hand with a hand broom. This made for a very professional and clean look to the last phase of the project. Joe and his team were meticulous and did not rush. Family visited a few days after the edging and patio were complete and were quite impressed by the look and quality of the work. "I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner, Jim, that resulted in me giving him and his company a chance to provide their services. Kevin was the team lead and was very professional and pleasant. He and his team arrived around 9a ready to work. He checked with me to ensure that he understood what I needed, and they proceeded to work. They were finished in about 2.5 hours, and I walked around back to see how the bushes looked. I was pleased with how neatly cut they were and with how well the leaves had been removed from the entire lawn. All three gentlemen respectfully thanked me prior to leaving. I was very pleased and plan to enter into a contract to have Jim and his team take care of my lawn this season."

This included placement of water lines in lower traffic areas, placing excess soil from digging in an area that would not damage existing grass, and site clean-up. Brett was very responsive. This is important to me when working with contractors. He was very courteous and mindful of my own working schedule. He worked with his team to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. I just paid my final balance and there were no surprise charges. It is the beginning of the fall so I will not have much time use my new sprinkler but am confident I will continue to be satisfied come the spring and will update this review if anything should change."

"My experience with TLC Inc. was a very positive one! I had a well/cistern that was leaking onto my lawn. Apparently the drainage system had deteriorated over the years. Mr. Drew Hall came out to look and discuss the project. When we later met at TLC to discuss solutions, Mr. Hall clearly explained what has to be done and showed me photos of a similar project. Mr. Hall also worked efficiently with my town’s public works and the county agency to create a system that was satisfactory for all. As the work progressed, Mr. Hall diligently kept me updated. "The Estimator was very nice and responded quickly to setup the visit and schedule the work for an old DC home with galvanized piping. The 2 installers (one very nice - Chris) did good work and cleaned up well, but didn't communicate the issues that popped up! This was irritating. They left although there were leaks and sewage coming through the kitchen sink when you turned on the bathroom sink etc. The installers claimed someone was scheduled to come the next morning, but that wasn't true because of the communication issues. Also, they promised a plumber would show up on the same day as the stoppage, but they never showed up or called. They apologized the next day, but my elderly mom still couldn't use her bathroom on the 2nd floor and had to go down to the basement to use the restroom for 5 days. They even mentioned that I had to pay for snaking the pipes although we had no blockage until the installers finished their work. The Estimator got an installer/repair tech Chris Hardesty (2nd Chris in the company) to snake and remove the stoppage (for free how nice) and fix all of the remaining issues. He is a great tech!!! He is the reason I gave an overall rating of a B. He was an "A" but the other service averaged to a "B". Thanks Chris!!! If you don't have an older home, then you should be fine, but if you do good luck with finding out promptly."
