They provided a very competitive quote quickly after I provided some photos of the project. I appreciated their willingness to share knowledge and detail about the pros/cons of different types of water heaters and helped me make the final decision. For the service appointment, Kelly and Chris were right on time, made sure to keep the house and work area clean, and completed the installation in an efficient and timely manner. During and after installing the water heater, both Kelly and Chris shared information about how to better maintain the water heater to extend its service life (information the plumber that installed our prior water heater had not shared). "Shaun and Steve from Boevaag Plumbing called/texted to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule. This worked out great and they were able to start about an hour before the estimated starting time. On an outside spigot that was leaking Shaun showed me how one nut just needed tightening. Leak gone. I had a valve that ran to the kitchen refrigerator. I assume this valve was likely added by the previous homeowner, as it was unfortunately placed after the shutoff valve for one of the outside spigots (so when I shut it off for the winter, no water to the fridge). I had them move the refrigerator valve (they put in a new one) before the outside shutoff valve. A shutoff valve for another outside spigot wouldn't fully shut off. They replaced both of the shutoff valves with much better handle valves (rather than the knob valves that were there). The pipes to the water softener needed to be tweaked to line up with the new softener. They did that, hooked up the new softener, ran it though all of its cycles and showed me how to use it. Shaun also gave me advice on maintaining the unit. The main waste pipe had a joint that had failed, Steve and Shaun replaced the necessary pieces and everything looks nice and sealed once again. The guys took a little under three hours to get my long list of items accomplished. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt the price charged was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Boevaag Plumbing and will most certainly use them again."

"I left a previous review after Mike with Randy's Electric came out to look at the job I wanted completed. That went great and I stated that if I went forward with the project I would hire him. Well, I went forward with the project and could not be happier. Everything went smooth on the date of installation. After discussing the location of the plug in site Mike thought the best location would be in a spot which required him to do extra wiring but there was no change in cost. He was excellent at explaining what he was doing and answering my questions. He even took the time to test everything with the generator hooked up to the transfer switch to make sure we everything worked properly. I have more electrical projects coming up and will definitely be hiring Mike at Randy's Electric. I recommend you do too! Oh and a really great perk is that Randy's Electric offers "same as cash" financing. I applied ahead of the start date and the process was super quick and easy. That really helped out."

Now all the water is flowing through the shower head. Oakly did a excellent job, was friendly, quick and would request again for future projects."

He had to come up with a way to have the water heater raised as it sits on a drain pad and the flat surface of the heater bottom would have closed off the drain. The old heater has legs. He used PVC pipe pieces to elevate this new heater. He replaced the gas shutoff valve and the water shutoff valve. The old ones were over 36 years old."

So in all 4 different employees were here for a good part of the day.
