"We highly recommend US Waterproofing. Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose. "This review is well over due. Now that we have the drain tile system we have not received any flooding The day he began Brian's team came to our house promptly in the morning at 8am. They immediately started jack hammering the floor around the perimeter of the basement. While two men jack hammered on opposite ends the rest of the team followed behind them clearing debris and bringing the large pieces to a truck to be hauled away. They then installed the drain pipe, sump pumps, and poured cement. They were able to compete the project within 8 hours. I was definitely impressed! Now that it is a year later with 3 seasons behind us we cannot complain about his installation of the drainage system. Furthermore, one year later he still provided us with exceptional customer service. Oddly enough our pipes connected to our sump pump that takes the water from the drain tile to the backyard became detached. He responded asap with putting the detached pipes from the sump pump back together and making sure what happened will not happen again. What I liked about him in comparison to the other companies was his approach. No sales techniques, nothing gimmicky just genuine and straight shooter type of guy. He believes in his service, no thrills and whistles to the product. Just common sense solutions with quality service. It's your house your investment. Call this guy, no "BS" to it. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house.
