"Install went great, as far as product and quality of windows, I would recommend them to anyone. The problem comes in when you have one. The dining room bay window had a minor leak, it took weeks just to get someone to look at it, he made a temporary repair, said he needed to order materials and would call to complete repairs when they came in. I then noticed that they used two different kinds of flashing material on the windows, contacted office and told them about it, very sorry, will order proper flashing and take care of everything. Let’s just say, over 6 weeks ago and still waiting for a call. The windows are great just hope you don’t need any service."

"The Pace Windows representatives and installers, and phone staffers showed extreme professionalism and did a quality job in all areas. They were punctual and could be reached for questions and concerns at all times. Some of the other highly recognizable names in the Rochester, NY and surrounding areas proved to be difficult to reach by phone and even harder to get an estimate from. Pace has the best guarantee in the business (for our needs) probably because they sell quality products and install them correctly in the first place. Hopefully we will never need to use the guarantee, but rest assured that Pace will be very responsive in honoring their contract. "My wife and I just had our basement finished by Russell Renovations. Our decision to go with them was definitely the right one...We couldn't imagine a more hassle-free process, and better finished product. I don't even know where to start. Incredible professionalism, timeliness and fairness were demonstrated by Tim, Seth and Anna from the initial estimate, throughout the construction process, and on to the finishing touches. We added a few things here and there during construction, which they never questioned, and then completed each task without sacrificing a shred of quality on any part of the project. The only thing that caused a slight delay was the carpet we selected being out of stock, and the way Tim interacted with his vendors when any problem came up was truly impressive. He's a strong advocate for his customers, and accepts nothing but the best. For example, the day the carpet arrived, we experienced an electrical issue with our house, and the carpet installer (understandably) refused to finish the project on a generator for fear of damaging his tools. Not only did Tim provide his own personal Generator, he offered to replace the carpet-installer's tools should something happen. After some Tim Russell magic, the install was completed that day. On top of their stellar work-ethic, skill and uncompromising attention to detail, Tim, Seth and Anna are fantastic to interact with on a personal level. We became true friends during the job, sharing lunches, dinners and after work drinks. On a side note, I was a little worried about having work going on in my house for 6 weeks with the percieved noise, mess and general stress of it all. However, they became a welcome fixture in our home during that time...it was almost sad when they were finished and not there on a daily basis! Tim's immensely positive outlook on everything, sense of humor and pride he took in his work were big factors in this. Our friendship continues outside of a work capacity, and we look forward to having him return later this summer to put a front porch and new door in for us. Absolutely blown away...no need to look anywhere else for a contractor."

"The request for an estimate was answered very quickly. Working with Tom was like working with family. I was immediately comfortable that this company. The crew arrived at around 9:30 and were done by 11:00. Cleanup was spotless. The only evidence they were there were my 4 new windows."

"My husband and I determined that we wanted to have our house sided with Hardie Board. It was difficult to find someone to do this. One contractor could do the siding, but not the roof. Our neighbor recommended this company. Dana, the president, came and sat down and spoke with us to find out what we wanted. He then went back to the suppliers, for both the roof and the siding, to get the most up to date information. He sat down with us again, and totally explained the process. His price was very good, and as his company could perform all that was necessary, it was easy to decide to go with them. He was helpful in recommending colors and dropping off samples. His crew was very prompt, polite and neat. The roof was a mess, and they did a great job, including several little extra tasks that we were not charged for. They made an extra effort to have the dumpster removed for my daughters Junior Prom. The siding was very involved and the crew assigned to cut and install were very experienced and meticulous. The few issues we found were quickly fixed. The three windows we have were purchased to match to siding and Dana did a great job finding windows that would look good. Now that it is winter we appreciate the insulated windows. The final product looks great, neighbors and strangers have commented on it. The cost was substantial, but the finished product was worth it."

"The installers were very polite and very conscious of not disturbing or getting anything in the house dirty. The installation went quickly and we have lived with the result for a couple of winters and can say that the performance of the windows has been excellent. No complaints here! "I had to replace 9 windows in my house unexpectedly and did not budget for it. Had about 12 reputable companies come in and give me estimates before I decided to go with Big L. The reason I went with them anitially was because they were very patient and was willing to work with me to meet my needs within my budget. I did not want to replace my cheap windows with another set of cheap windows, but I couldn't seem to afford a better quality ones until I started working with Big L. At the end I am very glad that I decided to go with them. I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. James was amazing and extrimely patient with helping me to decide on which windows would be right for me. He was available to answer all of my questions and concerns from early mornings to late nights, even on weekends. Norm came in right away to measure, even though there was not time in his schedule. My custom windows arrived earlier then expected. I was very nervous before the installation due to the cold weather and all the potential mess. When John and his crew arrived they were wonderful. They got here on time, worked all day without even a coffee break to make sure that all 9 windows are in and perfect in one day. They even mounted my blinds back on (that was not in their job description). They were very respectful towards me and my home. When they left, I think my house looked even cleaner then before inside and out. My new windows look amazing and it already feels a lot warmer inside. I am extrimely happy with my decision. I am definitely calling them when I am ready to replace my sliding glass door. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and for making my home warmer and cozier for my daughter and I!"

"Ken and crew were great. Extremely professional and on time. Would highly recommend if you can wait as he is very busy with existing clients and I understand why! House was purchased 5 years ago and we have never been able to get grime off 25 year old windows that previous owners neglected. They always looked dirty and streaked no matter what we did. Not any more! They are streak free and if not for reflections on windows it would look like there was no glass the glass. It took 6 weeks from original call to set up, was originally 1 month out. This was partially my fault due to conflicts with my work schedule and then had to cancel and reschedule due to business trip. Ken and crew took just shy of two hours to do all the work which would have been over 9 hours for 1 person to do. Expert Window Cleaning will be doing the windows in my house all the time.
