"We are totally happy with our experience with the Brick Doctor. Our 60 year old house had front and back steps that had lost quite a bit of mortar. The front porch, made of broken tile with a brick border , needed the entire border of mortar replaced, and some cracks repaired. Kenny is a true craftsman and a hard worker. He was easy to deal with and we worked together to schedule the repairs. He is a skilled professional, and it was obvious that he takes pride in his work and gives attention to detail. Throughout the process he consulted with us to mke sure we understood what he was going to do. All of the repairs were made, including replacing some broken bricks. "I found Lynn on Angie's list and called to set up an estimate. He estimated rather low for the actual time that it took to complete the job (his estimate was $98--based on the assumption that the job would take a few hours.) He provided the tools (I had already purchased most materials), which was a blessing since the tile store had given me the wrong kind of tile-cutter. Lynn did an excellent job with the installation (the rock was crumbly and turned out to be difficult to work with). He created a side border with the marble bricks that made a clean even border between the backsplash and the painted wall. He cut the pieces with appropriate precision and worked with care and focus until the job was done. I decided to pay him more than we had agreed to when I saw how much longer the work actually took (2 days instead of the couple of hours he had predicted), but he was very gracious and probably would have accepted the original estimate. He's a man of integrity and skill."
