"The project coordinator (Mike) arrived on time for the estimate, promptly provided that estimate, and was a professional throughout the project. Demo and install work started on time. Sanding/finishing work took several days longer than expected. Overall work generally looked very good. Unfortunately, they stumbled a bit on some important details, such as: failed to reinstall the toilet and sink they removed in a 1/2 bath; failed to properly fill holes where old stair treads met stringers; did not know when to use caulk vs. wood filler; poor initial repair of several damaged boards; forgot to install quarter-round in several places; etc. They ran a good race but stopped short of the finish line and had to be coaxed across. I like these guys (especially the finisher Jose) and would hire them again, but wish I had not been put in the position of needing to serve as the quality control supervisor. Otherwise, they easily would have earned a 5. UPDATE 6/15/202: The estimator and project manager showed up on time and provided a timely estimate. Demo and install proceed on time and quickly. Sanding/finishing work was delayed a bit. Ultimately, the work was very good, although I had to point out and push for the correction of numerous quality issues. Although I wish I was not put in the position of serving as the quality control supervisor, the quality issues were ultimately addressed to my satisfaction. They are nice folks to work with and I would hire them again."

"Miracle Method did a great job resurfacing the floor, the bathtub and surround, and the shower and surround. Everything looks new. They even cleaned our existing shower doors to look new. They removed the toilets to resurface the floor and placed new wax rings when they replaced the toilets. The only negative part of the resurfacing process was the smell of the chemicals they use. We had to open a lot of windows to vent the odor."

"I've got some really old berber carpet and it's seen a lot fo wear, pets, some leaks, etc. Overall it went well. Hue came out and inspected the stain I had and explained that it needed more than just steaming because it had browned already. He treated the spot and cleaned it and everything looks great now. I had him out a second time to clean the carpets completely and he did a thorough job. I had a few spots that didn't dry well and he came back and re-cleaned those and left fans on it extra time to make sure it dried."

"I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

"I contacted Granite Vision and spoke with Roni, explaining that because the vanity was in an awkward place in this small bathroom, I needed help to decide what was required. Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. Both their installer and plumber readily answered all questions. Also, because I have add'l bathroom remodeling to do, I asked Joseph for any recommendations he may have for providers with whom he's worked who do smaller jobs and are good. I researched for hours on end and decided contacting Floors Kitchen Bath Direct. Upon my initial conversation throughout the completion of the project, they are professional, punctual, and precise. We started out with a subpar, tiny bathroom space that turned into something magical. I harassed my husband unceasingly until he agreed to begin the project. He is usually uninterested in my design ideas but he was pleased from the initial meeting to the end of the project. I must say, he is not the easiest to please but he actually used the expression "wow" when it was finished. The lines are clean and the tile is unique and beautiful! After each job, they cleaned the area. I mean, they really cleaned so I did not have to go behind them. I am sincerely grateful for the care, time, and attention. "I'm very happy with the results of our work and I think working with Oscar gave a nice balance of service, price, and quality. His prices were very competitive compared to other quotes. I've shared a bunch of detail here because I found it hard to make sense of reglazing services as I was shopping. Hope the review helps you. The end results of their services were excellent. The tub and tile look brand new, and the old cracks and chips have basically disappeared. Service was somewhere between good and excellent when you put it all together, just communication was a bit bumpy along the way at times. Oscar stuck with it until we had a plan in place, immediately followed up to get repairs done where the initial work on some of the crack repairs needed improvement, and immediately offered a discount for the inconvenience. Here are a few things to keep in mind. 1) Oscar will provide a quote based on pictures you send. If you have a simple job e.g. reglaze a tub or tile that do not have any cracks, I would expect this to go very smoothly. In my case we had some repairs that needed to happen and the text communication / quote was confusing and took some time to get locked down. 2) There's not a lot of hand holding so you need to get yourself comfortable with how the process works and the results you can expect. It was new for me, so that took some faith. 3) People talk about fumes, needing to get out of the house, etc. I was surprised how little odor there was. They use a fan to vent the fumes out a window. 4) On that front, keep in mind that they will need to run a flexible duct to a window that is not in the bathroom. We didn't know that. It's messy and we had to clean up the room where the fan was. 5) The repair work to the cracks in our tile needed to be redone after the first try. It felt to me like the initial work was pretty sloppy, but I don't have experience with this so it may be the nature of the process that you need to do a rough finish, then come in and sand / shape the repair, and touch up the paint. You might just want to ask Oscar. 6) The guys who did the actual work didn't clean up after themselves (and this is why I only rated "professionalism" as "fair"). There was dirt on the floors, tape residue stuck on tile, fixtures, and the floor, and paint overspray on walls, fixtures, and the floor that I had to clean up. No good excuse for that - just recognize you may need to do some heavy cleaning after they leave. 7) It was all done in a day, then Oscar came back the next day to do repairs. Okay, hope that helps someone out there!"

"I absolutely agree with the other reviews of the work of DIY Kitchen and Bath. Frank and his team were punctual, stayed true to their estimate and time frame for starting and completing the job, and did fantastic work! When Frank came to my condo to see the work I wanted done and provide me with an estimate, he listened to my wants and to my budget. He provided a great and budget conscious solution to updating my kitchen (paint, kitchen cabinets and countertops, doors). He and his team also did some grout work in my bathroom. I was extremely impressed with the time they took to cover my appliances in my kitchen, the floor, as well as hang plastic to seal off the hallway and living room from the kitchen. Each day that I came home, I realized that they had cleaned up the work from the day. I was surprised and pleased to say the least! I emailed them the day before the last day work was to be done. I told them that I had forgotten to ask if they could reattach a tile on my bathroom floor that had loosened a while back. Frank responded immediately and said that they had already noticed the tile and his guys were going to fix it that day. I will call DIY Kitchen and Bath without hesitation for any future work that I have done in my house!"

"Fantastic. Very patient sell's person. Counter was ready in just a week and installed rapidly. Now had it for over a year and still looks great. Had damage to the wall when removing the old counter, but that was because of the way the old one was taped to the wall. Plumbing for new sink that I had chosen also caused problem. but again not their fault... just cost me more money. Would hire again"
