"Our central A/C broke and a repairman from the company we purchased it from 15 years prior told us we needed a new compressor. I put the project on Anji to get a few quotes for replacement, and rec'd a call minutes later. We set up an appointment set up for the next morning. Frank came and looked at our system, we told him what the other repair person had said, Frank (the owner of Old Skool ) did a more thorough look at the entire system, and within 45 minutes realized the problem was with one wire on the outside of the unit in our attic and not the compressor outside. He replaced the wire, and instead of a two to four thousand dollar replacement, it cost us a couple of hundred bucks. (The quote visit turned into the repair visit.) I seldom have plumbers in so I can't say the cost was high, although I was surprised it was $400, but that could be the going rate. He seemed very agreeable and very happy. I needed something and he was happy to get it. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in that regard. As for the quality of their service, so far so good. Everything went okay. It stopped leaking."
