"We could not be happier with Brandon's work, punctuality, cleanliness, personality, communication, honesty, pricing, and overall character. We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, bath, or in general, look no further than Superior. You are hiring someone who truly cares about his work and the customer. Rare in any business these days. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Flash Painters. They arrived when they were supposed to, finished the job when t hey said they would, cleaned up when they were done and charged a fair price for the work. When working on the inside of my house, they were meticulous in covering things so no paint got on furniture and when finished, went through the house and made sure I was satisfied with the job in every room. On the outside of the house, they did everything necessary to make the house look good, pounding in nails, filling woodpecker holes, and caulking where needed. They even came in and made sure all my windows opened and put screens in. I later hired Flash again to stain my deck and paint a ceiling. I am planning on selling in the near future and they helped make my house look great. I would highly recommend them."

"Angel responded to my call almost immediately. He stopped by that afternoon to assess the job and gave me a quote later that day. He was able to schedule the work within several days after that. While he was here, I asked him to take a look at the toilet, which was not flusing properly. He was able to order a replacement flush handle from the manufacturer at no cost and once it arrived, he came back and installed it for no additional charge. All in all, a very good experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again for any plumbing or heating issue and recommend him highly."

"Julio was great when he first came. It turns out that he sent his brother. His brother, instead of correcting what we thought was a minor problem, he suggested buying a whole new sink thing and a whole new garbage disposal. He happened to have a good one on the truck and it will cost you 400 and some odd dollars and I am like "I don't think so." So, I said " Either forget it or fix this one or whatever." So, I called my brother in law who knows plumbing and I researched it while he was there on the spot. I decided to go get the garbage disposal at a good price and then he put it in. I don't like that kind of business where they say this will cost you, but what you should do is this and it will cost you even more. I don't think we are going to call them back.
  I met him through Angie's List almost a year ago in June and I evaluated his work and it was great. He was very accommodating. It was beautiful. It was like $99 for a hours work of work or something like that and it worked out well. So, it turns out he would be great to hire in the future, so we are hiring from Angie's List. So it says Angie's List works, but we hired him a second time and it didn't work out to well. We got the garbage disposal done, but it cost a high amount, but plumbers do. Because of Angie's List, we found a plumber that we thought we could use in the future.
  He did the work, but I went and bought the products. I didn't want to pay his prices. I paid him for the labor and he waited for me too, which is incredible because most plumbers have you by the watch and want to charge me for sitting out in the driveway waiting for me to go get the equipment. That was nice. So, he didn't charge me for that hour or whatever it took, but he did do the work that we needed and we paid for it, but there was no fee to come out. I didn't like the price and they way they do that. "Oh you don't need that, that drain is not dripping that much. Just buy a whole new sink faucet." Wait a minute,
  The quality was good. They came out and it was very convenient. Punctuality was good. He was late thank goodness because I was late. It worked out. Unfortunately, it was Julio's brother. Julio was great. This guy (his brother) I would send him out. He is the one getting the marks, not Julio."

"I hired MA Design and Construction Co to do my bathroom remodel at the recommendation of a friend who also used them for a bathroom/kitchen remodel, and I would definitely hire them again. Not only did they finish right on schedule, but they understood my desire to stay within budget, and never tried to pressure me to overspend or increase costs. They did not start construction until all of the materials were in hand, or in stock, which made the renovation go even smoother. I also had some plumbing issues arise (old valves that needed replacing) which they were able to replace without adding time to the schedule. Marc, Raquel, and team were great and very responsive. Raquel’s design suggestions were really helpful to me, as I wasn’t 100% sure what would look good in a small bathroom. I would definitely recommend their work!"

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!
