"It went great! Patrick came out on a Saturday to see what was causing my line to back up. He used his camera to find mud in a section of my pipe indicating some type of crack or break. Gave me my options for fixing it. He started his repair two days later on Monday and finished up today, Wednesday. They dug roughly, a 4ft by 3ft hole to get down to the pipe and ended up digging two more feet towards the basement to ensure that they connected the new pipe to a solid piece of the existing pipe. Very competitive pricing, I called two other plumbers who were both higher priced by at least 2K and didn't offer as good of a warranty on their work. Very knowledgeable, able to help me understand how my whole sewer system works. Very professional, got the permit with the city, busted the work out, got the job inspected by the city and Closed up the hole. Patrick and his crew were also able to remove a piece of cable that someone previously broke and left in the pipe ( from that machine that rods your line). I highly recommend Patrick and his crew. "I have a powder room that is above an unheated cellar entryway. In the winter the plumbing supply lines that run under this space would freeze. After tearing away insulation I realized these pipes were very old and also were full of various spigot valves for no apparent reason. Charlie recommended replacing them with new pipes with now valves in the cold area. He replaced them with galvanized pipes because of the higher PSI threshold. He installed independent shut off valves in my basement so I could turn these supplies off in the event of a freeze. Everything went perfectly - I use Charlie for all my plumbing needs and always will. He's a busy guy so he's not always immediately available -but I've found he's worth the wait.

"Well. I have a sewer backup system that Permaseal installed in 2012. Never had a problem with it and it solved my sewer backup problem. I am supposed to have it inspected annually. I skipped a few years by laziness. They inspected this year. All was in order. They did however recommend that I replace a pump that is beyond its expected useful life and also batteries that are beyond their life. Those will be done in September or October. At same time I asked them to look at a floor drain in an unfinished portion of my basement. Water had come up.
