"Jon came to my house. He was very pleasant. Did a quote. After a couple of days, I accepted it. I asked that he come to my home one more time to make sure we were clear on the work, and he said he'd let me know shortly when he could pass by. That was the last I ever heard from him. I take very seriously the importance of people, and potential vendors in particular, keeping their word. From what I've seen from other reviewers, this guy's inability to keep his word is a pattern that he has demonstrated time and again."

"I had a terrific experience using Landscape Helper for my uphill slope landscape project. We recently had our backyard slope landscape project completed by Landscape Helper. This was a complex landscape project as it had a steep uphill slope with a 6 foot retaining wall adjacent to the back of the pool. Paul’s professionalism was absolutely top-notch and extremely comforting through out the entire process. We can’t speak enough about Paul’s expertise and experience through the process. His insight helped us tremendously in putting together the end result in which we were very happy with. The Landscape Helper crew is also very professional and takes extreme interest in making sure the work done meets the highest standard. We are beyond satisfied with the work that was done and we 100% recommend Landscape Helper. The cost was reasonable as well."

"Alvaro Mantar did a very good job replacing the concrete apron in front of our garage and blending it into the existing sidewalk. About 110 square feet. Project included correcting the grade for better drainage and hauling away the debris. Job was done in one day and at a very reasonable price. I should note Alvaro was the only contractor who came on-site before submitting a bid. Other contractors just bid based on photos."

"Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. It’s evident they are paying for reviews or having their buddies create fake ones. We had a lackluster experience with Haven Hub. I’m giving them two stars bc the job eventually got done, but I wouldn’t recommend them. Poor communication, project manager changes with no notice, and unprofessionalism made the process frustrating. (I have an endless list of things that went wrong but only 1000 words.) Contractors tried to upsell us under the table for work already in our contract, and the concrete wasn’t poured to spec. Crews didn’t show up for weeks; they left a dirt pile that got us warning from the city. Sprinklers in the park strip were initially promised by the salesman, then left out of his poor drawing. Even when we scheduled a final wrap-up date, they didn’t show. The park strip was never finished, despite many promises to do so. We signed March 5 and didn’t finish until May 29 — nearly three months when it should’ve taken weeks"

"We are completely satisfied with our backyard, where we wanted to do a complete renovation, making our yard more beautiful and usable, for games with friends, easy access for my dogs and everything else! From the beginning Brian helped us with the choice of materials, locations, colors and many great suggestions. Our Project Manager, Delmar, and Brian did an excellent job updating us and communicating and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We had a tight deadline for our project because we wanted to finish before 06/01 - he did our entire project quickly and efficiently! "Since I had previously been very impressed with Salvador Gallardo / Authentic Landscape on an urgent repair for our leaking irrigation valve system, I called on him again for my long dreamed of overhaul of our entire front and back yard beginning May 22, 2024. He advertises "You can be sure that you will receive quality work with a personal touch" which is exactly what I needed. I had a rather vague plan and relied on his expertise to help develop my dream. The major goal was to completely remove all the turf, leaving only the trees, a grape arbor (which Salvador needed to redesign and expand), and a couple areas of plants. We used a turf replacement rebate and he and Jesus, plus his sons Christian and Jesse, spent 2 weeks digging out all the nasty weeds and a several-inch layer of dirt. Our irrigation system was converted to sprinklers for the garden areas and drip lines around the outer areas of trees and original landscape plants plus a new control unit. Some of the trees required some pruning also. It was fun working with Salvador to figure just where my front and back “gardens” and pebble pathways would go. We added slabs of flagstone around the front and back faucets and replaced the remaining area with shredded wood. Additionally, he replaced one entire gate and had to redesign and repair of my second gate. My back garden is essentially a lawn replacement of ground cover plants, and the front garden utilized a lot of succulents and several other plants dug out and from my pots plus lots of poppy seeds. We added some ground cover and a variety of other plants I found on clearance sales. We incorporated my collection of granite rocks, and I’ve continued detailing with decorative features to make my “Never Too Late For A Happy Childhood” theme garden with fairy, farm, lighthouse, and Santa and reindeer areas, lots of solar lights/fireworks, windchimes, spinners, toys and sculptures, While reasonably priced, it was an expensive project but, after 20 years of dreaming, so worth the smile I can’t quit. Obviously I continue to highly recommend Salvador and Authentic Landscape. The guys worked very hard and were a pleasure to have around. Being able to make well advised adjustments as work progressed was a great advantage to accomplishing my desires."
