"External inspection revealed spalling brick damage requiring a brick mason to correct. Fire box was inspected and repairs were made to fireproof caulking as well as installation of wool insulation behind glass doors to prevent embers migrating from the fire box to the inside of the building walls. Inside of the brick chimney was made and determined there were no repairs needed there."

"Jerry is very knowledgeable.  He is prompt, courteous, and more than fair in his estimates and pricing.  He will not try to suggest more work be done than is necessary.  He located bricks to match the ones in our our house.  He did an excellent job in all of the work he did for us and cleaned up after his work was complete.  Very highly recommended. <br />"

"It was wonderful. They did a really good job and they're great to work with. The total project cost for fence and patio $9000. They were really great to work with and they were always in communication with me if they were going to be absent or late or something like that."

"The owner did a thorough inspection, and suggested a few additional repairs in addition to my primary one. The price was doable. Danny came within the week and accomplished everything between about 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. It looks as if it's a fine job, professional accomplished."

"When we bought our home in April there were several things I wanted to change but the kitchen was the number one thing! I called several companies before making my decision to use HomeGuard Construction. Customer service is very important to me and the owner always answered or returned my call the same day. I had many questions along the way. They were patient and explained everything to me during the process, which ultimately is why I chose them. The remodel itself went good, the guys would clean up after they finished working for the day and they all seemed to work very well together. I have recommended them to other people and they actually just finished putting a roof on for my neighbor!"

"We had had bad experience with a roofer in the past - the company who replaced our roof two years ago was completely unresponsive after one failed attempt to fix the leak around our chimney, so we called Bone Dry Roofing. <br> <br>Shane Emerson was both able to come out within a few days and arrived on time to inspect the chimney and give us an estimate.  He gave a detailed explanation of what he thought the problem was and what he felt the repair should entail.  Unlike other companies we have dealt with in the past, he came to the door first to let us know he had arrived instead of just jumping on our roof. <br> <br>Although there were a couple delays in getting the repair done that were not communicated to us, Shane did reply when we contacted him.  When all was said and done, the repair was a week out from the initial repair date. <br> <br>James Crowder was the roofer who repaired our chimney.  We are happy with the work he did.  We had a heavy rain with a lot of wind last night - conditions that used to lead to wet drywall in our bedroom - and this morning the wall was dry. <br> <br>Overall, our experience with this company was satisfactory.  If I have one suggestion, it's that someone needs to inform the customer when the repair person is on his way so that the homeowner can be available.  This seems to be a common issue with all the roofing companies we have dealt with.  Bone Dry was by far the most responsive. "

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Claremore, OK

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
