"We recently had a sewage backup in our basement and we called a large chain plumbing company to come and clear the backup. The large chain company cleared the clog, but they told us we needed to have our entire line replaced because of tree roots that they said would continue to clog the drain even after they cleared it. Moreover, they said there were still tree roots that they could not clear out, that would cause another clog very soon if we didn't go through with the replacement. They indeed showed us the roots with a camera that they ran through the line. They wanted to charge us $11,000 dollars for the repair. <br /> <br /> So on the recommendation of a friend, I called Heeter Plumbing to come out and give us a second opinion. The professional technician from Heeter Plumbing ran his auger machine through the pipe, and then ran his camera through the pipe. I was amazed to see that the pipe was now completely clean. The technician from Heeter Plumbing told me the drain did NOT need to be replaced. Although he honestly told me he didn't know exactly how long it would take for the roots to grow back, he very helpfully suggested that a fine course of action would be to just have the pipe cleaned occasionally instead of replacing the whole pipe. I was extremely relieved and thankful for his helpfulness and honesty, and I completely trusted his assessment of the situation. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend Heeter Plumbing."
