"Synergy Windows approached us because we had windows that were still the original stock windows when the home was built in 2012. They were really sub-par windows, and Synergy Windows gave us a great deal on replacing them. We met with one of their salesmen, Kyle. We were very impressed with him. He was very nice, and we didn't feel pressured into anything, and he let us make the decision without pressuring us. About a month after our initial meeting with the Kyle, the workers from a different company (Tates Construction, through Alside, according to the contract) came and installed the windows. They arrived at around 10:30am or so on the day of the install and they finished around 5:45pm. The window install went really smoothly, and the workers were nice. Overall, they installed 10 windows (4 large, 4 medium, and 2 small windows). The windows are a very good quality, and they are significantly better than our previous windows. However, they damaged the paint next to the windows in two rooms. I didn't noticed until they had left. In the one room, it's no big deal, because we have the paint used for that room. However, we have no idea what the paint color is in the other room. This whole install was just shy of a month ago. Shortly after, I contacted Synergy windows about the damage to the paint/wall (so, about 2 weeks ago) after they asked me for a review. They asked for picture of the damage, and I sent it. I haven't heard back from them. We received a new utilities bill this month, and compared to last month, it went down by just under $30. Overall, it was a good experience, with a couple of problems."

"I suffered a house fire in July 2014. I spent 7 months of trying to work with a group that supposedly reconstructed my house. The experience was horrible. They couldn't care less about customers, the job, etc.  One item done poorly was installation of front and back doors as well as screen doors. <br /> I had Dave Wright (Yellow Van Handyman) fix the problems. My experience with Yellow Van Handyman (Dave Wright) (HomeTask.com) was absolutely and completely awesome compared to the previous months. Dave repaired storm doors and front and back doors that had been poorly installed. Cost was reasonable. Repair was done in a timely manner and Dave was courteous and professional.  The experience was a "breath of fresh air".  Thanks so much!  I will work with him again. <br />"

"It was a warranty work taken care by a third party. They were definitely first rate. They had to be in and out of the house, almost continuously. They were very careful coming in and out. They kept me well informed as to what was going on and what they were finding. I recommended them to a friend of mine who was having some window work done."

"The installation was great. Everything regarding the whole transaction was good until I was filling out the rebate form for Rocky Mountain Power. There were only 21 window stickers on the 31 windows we had installed. I called the company to get copies of the window stickers or the manufacturers specification sheets. After 8 phone calls to Energy One / Synergy Windows, and 2 months of waiting, I finally just called the manufacturer of the windows. They sent me copies of the window stickers within one week. Once I got the window stickers, I found that 2 of the windows that were installed were only double pane instead of triple pane that we were promised. I found out that windows that are too small or too big cannot be triple paned. I discussed this with the company, and they refunded me the difference on both windows. All in all, I am very happy with the windows. They are great quality. They slide easily. The screens slide easily. I am noticing our electricity bill going down."

"Fine. They did the installation about a half-day late because of weather, forgetting a ladder, and having to get more film than expected. They finished quickly and with no problems. Left the two rooms as clean or cleaner than when they arrived."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Clearfield, UT

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
