"They were very nice and professional. But I was having a mole problem and wanted some lawn service, but for everything it was like $2600  a year, but called him back and told him it was out of my price range. They didn't charge me anything it was just an estimate. they came out and looked at the property and told me what I needed. Apparently I had several moles and hard to get rid of. Initial treatment was fine about $110 he was going to lay some traps, but what I didn't like it was going to be $89 after that every 45 days for maintenance."

"I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner, Jim, that resulted in me giving him and his company a chance to provide their services. Kevin was the team lead and was very professional and pleasant. He and his team arrived around 9a ready to work. He checked with me to ensure that he understood what I needed, and they proceeded to work. They were finished in about 2.5 hours, and I walked around back to see how the bushes looked. I was pleased with how neatly cut they were and with how well the leaves had been removed from the entire lawn. All three gentlemen respectfully thanked me prior to leaving. I was very pleased and plan to enter into a contract to have Jim and his team take care of my lawn this season."

"The landscapers arrived timely; and after brief introductions they immediately began working, cutting trimming, and weeding. Clearly these guys are meticulous and take pride in their work. The edging work is so neat & clean. Not a blade out of place. They take the time to ensure that my dog is secure before beginning. I've used Ray's several times and have never experienced an issue with the service provided. I have already requested Ray's to assist with preparing my landscape for the winter months, and I'm confident that I have a landscaper on speed dial for next spring/summer."

"The Emerald crew worked tirelessly for two and a half days to accomplish all the work we wanted them to do.  They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I were satisfied with the job (including fixing both sets of fence doors and a damaged sprinkler head).  At the end of each day the foreman walked around the house with me to go over their progress and communicate what work was left to do to make sure everyone was on the same page, something I appreciated very much.  The end result looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier.  We look forward to working with Emerald Landscaping in the future.

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Clements, MD

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
