"My horse spent 18 years chewing on my wooden fence. It finally became time to put up a new fence (not wood of course). Jerry Gifford came out and discussed the different types of fences with me. The decision was that a chain link fence would be the best for my situation. Jason and Valorie were my installers. They were very nice and did a wonderful job on my fence. It looks great! Thank you!"

"Got an estimate. Submitted HOA request after contractor could not access HOA website. Quote and plans were approved after I had to personally submit them. Received minimal communication from the contractor throughout the process. Constant ghosting and back and forth on rescheduling of install times and corrections. Original quote was not honored as they had made a “typo” saying we would get two gates but wasn’t drawn in the mock-up. Giving two stars because the work was eventually done, but not on time and not to the quality we would have hoped with multiple fence panels having gaps evident gaps or misalignments to the posts. An absolute headache inducing experience overall."

"We put a deposit of 1/2 the quote, on 2 feb 2026 and have no fence as of 29 April 2026. The installation crew was either no shows or the date kept changing. Finally in early april, we spoke to both salesmen and requested a refund. As of the 29th, we have no refund and no fence, and the salesmen don't text back or return our calls. We have been ripped off of $1800 put down in good faith, for what seemed to be a reasonable quote, instead of going with a more expensive offer. You get what you pay for, in our case we were scammed. To make matters worse, there is no information on this company as far as address, mgmt, etc, in ordr to make a claim in court, they have a veil of invisibility and anonimity. Avoid this company at all costs, it is a scam."

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Clermont, FL

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
