They also tore out and installed carpet for my whole house. They were quick and clean taking all the old carpet and cleaning up scraps. The job was complete in just a day and a half. The biggest job Rock Creek Roofing and Construction has done for me is replacing my roof and siding on my new shop. The crew came in and took the old shingles off and started replacing them on the first day. They were able to finish putting the new shingles on and cleaning up the next morning. Most of which was cleaning up and making sure there were no nails or shingles on the ground. The gutters and siding on my new shop had hail damage and had to be replaced. "Kevin came out to give us an estimate for new windows and my husband hired him on the spot. We told him that we wanted to get new gutters and gutter covers, but he told us to get our insurance company to look at our roof first before we discuss gutters, because from what he saw there was some damage. He did not even want to discuss gutters, so we booked him for the windows. We ended up getting a new roof and new gutters from our insurance company that they installed for us and they all look great. Bordner was so patient and Kevin worked with us while we kept waiting for our insurance company to release the rest of our money. He also helped us get the best rate for our windows from a reliable loan company. The is the first winter since being in our house where our Furnace is not constantly running, and we do not have to put plastic over our toddler windows. He answered his phone or returned our call quickly every time we had a question. For his siding crew, he hires actual skilled craftsmen who clearly pride themselves on a job well done. "We hired Sissi company to first remove mold from our roof shaded by a big tree. Lewis did a great job and sprayed chlorine in the end to kill the mold that were hard to remove. We then hired him to paint our outside wooden wall. Lewis painted quite carefully and respected and accommodated our requests. After this work done, he did basement waterproofing project for us as well. It saved our basement from flooding during this winter. In the end, Lewis also fixed our water sink sewage pipe and several lights in the house. Lewis is also a very friendly guy and he charged reasonably. I strongly recommend him."

tProject was bid last Fall and delayed at our request until Spring. The original bid was probably underpriced due to a miscalculation on their part but they stood by their bid. We discussed using pre-colored Hardyboard but Brian convinced us that a better result would be obtained by using the non-colored siding and then painting. We worked pros and cons to wrapping eves as opposed to using Hardy products. When the weather finally cooperated, the crews started arriving. They took pictures of the house before starting, so they would remember how everything went back. The crews they use for siding installation, painting, and gutters were all sutcontractors but top notch. Brian was the company project manager and he kept me informed of plans and suggested changes. The gutters were originally bid for 5 inch gutters but after re-evaluating our roof runoff, they upgraded to 6 inch w/o additional charge The siding crew were just amazing. Arriving early morning and working non stop until there was no more light. They were exact in their measurements and always in good spirits and very respectful of our personal space. They were not used to working on a rolled steel roof so their ladders scraped some of the finish off but quickly repaired it after I pointed it out  They cleaned  the site up completely at the end of each day...and believe me their is lots of trash in a project like this.  They could not figure our how to get my nightscape lighting back on correctly, so they paid for the original company to come out and re-install it. The painters were another crew that did great prep work and worked well with the siding crew. The gutter crew were done in a day.
