"They arrived promptly when expected and executed the work to my complete satisfaction. The injection holes for the lifting foam don't stand out too badly and they only had to drill a few of them. The sidewalk was lifted to its proper height. After the lift, the sealing was applied and coated with quartz sand, more attractive than the original black material."

"Very Satisfied Customer Basement systems did the water guard, vapor barrier, a super sump with battery back up and installed 3 windows and sun wells. Very happy with the job and the customer service. Had torrential rain twice since then and basement is completely dry."

"Hiring Chris to do the job was the right choice; it was a positive experience from start to finish. The work was complicated by its position over the creek and the age of the stone. Chris knew exactly how to tackle the job. He painstakingly restored the damaged bridge to its original condition, then went a step further by directing the water runoff. He is completely professional in his timely responses, cost quote and in keeping to his timeframe, even with inclement weather. I highly recommend Chris Basile and wish I could find a craftsman of his caliber for every project!"

"Perfectly. Carl met with me for a challenging problem/project I had previously hired (years ago) another contractor to solve/install. It involved installing a natural stone “stairway,“ with landings, on two small hills. The previous contractor did not succeed. Carl assessed and knew instantly what needed to be done, gave me a reasonable price, communicated effectively, always showed up on time with his crew and, at the risk of sounding hyperbolic, did a perfect job. Every member of his crew was customer and project focused. I already plan to welcome them back for another project elsewhere on my property."

"Chris, Vito and Gabby were my team at Funari Public Adjusters. They over excel at what they do. Constant follow-up, negotiation, scheduling, re-rescheduling ( on Sunday nights!) with insurance and mortgage companies. I was able to fully and without worry fully delegate the handling of all that to them. They kept me abreast of everything, advised me and explained ALL the steps along the way. When your house has caught fire and you have to vacate it..any kind of accountable help is welcome. They took the ball and ran with it! Chris held my hand through the entire process and helped calm me when stress and anxiety took over. I couldn’t have asked for a better team! I hope to NEVER need you again but I’m glad to know you’re there. Thank you!!"

"Gil was a very laid back and a  non hard sell type of guy when we met in June. I got 3 quotes and jmj was right in the middle but offered the mulch service where the other two did not. So I got the most bang for my buck. To put it simply... he arrived at 10 am this morning. His crew showed up at 11 am. They did the entire project in 6 hours.... That includes clean up. I could not ask for a better group of guys and a great company to work with. The patio is awesome, high quality and really adds some appeal to my backyard. I would highly recommend JMJ for any future hardscaping needs. <br />"

"<br /> Basements Love US came out in a terrible rain storm to address a water leak in my concrete basement. They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Clifton Heights, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
