He came out for a second visit to give me an updated quote. However, the people who did the work were a little messy - the roofers left some dead branches on the roof which I now need to remove myself. "Keystone Custom Decks was absolutely amazing! This summer we took on a very large outdoor project which included an inground gunite pool, paver pool deck, fire pit, paver patio with an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a 20 x 20 covered deck with a fireplace. We used 3 separate contractors for each phase of our project. Despite a minor setback in scheduling due to Covid, Keystone understood the magnitude of our project and how one phase affected the other. They were able to flex their schedule in order to make sure they weren't holding up the other contractors. When the project started it was like poetry in motion. Daniel and his crew were the ultimate professionals and their workmanship was impeccable. Their methodical approach and receptiveness to our input made the project stress free and enjoyable from beginning to end. "Chip was truly great to work with.  He spent considerable time with me to provide the estimate and discuss options for different approaches to doing the kitchen work.  Chip was always pleasant to talk with and provided regular updates on scheduling and the progress of the job.  Some of the work was subcontracted, but Chip worked with the subcontractors to manage the cost. This was especially important for the plumbing work where all of the preparation was done by Chip so the plumber didn't have to spend any more time than necessary.  Chip takes pride in the quality of his estimates (time and material) so when he found he had underestimated part of the job, he even deducted the additional cost.   Chip also provided some ongoing advice and feedback to me on work in my home that I had done by a painting contractor as part of an unrelated job - definitely above and beyond what I expected!  I would have no hesitation about working with Chip again in the future.  His title of "coach" is well earned.  I felt like Chip coached me throughout the work so that I was always well informed and involved in the decision making. <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"They were great, came out quickly and went over all of my needs, and provided an estimate for all of it even though they knew I would not be able to afford to get it all done at this time, they said they would work with me and get each project done when I can. My first was creating new beds and mulching them, they got it all done really quickly and the beds looked great. We had a hard rain the night it was done and the next day I saw the dye came off the black mulch. I wasn't even sure if I would mention it, but I did and they didn't hesitate to make it right, it was the first time they used the supplier, they actually removed the faded mulch and replaced it all within a week. I was very impressed and happy. I would 100% recommend this company."

They always made sure it was a safe environment in case our 5yo or dog happened to walk in during the evening when they weren't there.
