"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"Wonderfully. The spot where I originally wanted the antenna was inaccessible due to snow. So they recommended a spot above the garage, and installed it there wonderfully. Sealed it in nicely, no roof leaks, and routed the cable very responsibly through an existing port which I hadn't noticed before. Enjoying my free HDTV now...."

"Our roof got damaged by the storm that came through the QC. Their crew came out the next day and put a tarp over it to protect it. They fixed it the following week. They did a good job, Only small thing I noticed was a couple of shingles in the gutter they forgot to clean up and a drip rail I want him to look at. But overall I am pleased with what he did."

"The week prior we had contacted another local handyman to do the installation, and had he cancelled on us the day of the appointment.  I called these guys and they had a cancellation the following day and installed the fan for us then.  They were extremely professional and even cleaned up after themselves.  We have some smaller projects we want done around the house, and will for sure us them again."

"Called him and he arrived at our home the same day and provided an esimate.  The work was agreeded upon and a time scheduled for the installation.  Showed up exactly when he said he would and performed the installation expertly.  Would not hesitate to call him again. <br />"

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Coal Valley, IL

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
