"We had a prior meeting to review what was involved in preparation (moving furniture and other objects) for the cleaning of the tile and grout. On the 17 April 17 Eric showed up and started the grout cleaning and completed the job in about 4 hours. The grout had not been cleaned for 10 years and was nearly black. He did a great job, the grout lines were a light gray again and tile look like new. He sealed the grout lines and left the space clean. Eric was very careful working around the furniture we were not able to move. It was a real joy to hire someone who is so professional and pleasant. The whole experience was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend Avalanche Cleaning to anyone."

"Jerry stripped and resealed a very old saltillo tile floor. He also took down the old 4 x 4 Mexican tile off the wall and installed new Mexican tile for the baseboard on the wall and around the bottom of a kiva fireplace. Everything looked beautiful after he completed the job. They were on time, friendly. professional and cleaned up when they were done. They definitely take pride in their work. "Sergio arrived punctually and analyzed the materials he would need for the repairs. He went to a local near-by hardware store and purchased the necessary sheet rock, which I paid for as it was an extra item. In order to get at the damage, he had to pull off a large 4x4 section of peg-board that itself had been torn. We discussed what might be done to replace,the peg-board but made no decision at that time. I left him to do the work, but when I returned, he had removed the peg-board so carefully that it could be remounted and used again, over the now completely repaired and re plastered damage! He also had spied a crack in the garage ceiling that I had overlooked, and repaired it with tape at his own initiative! Impressive work! I would call upon D&R again for this kind of repair. They also do other kinds of construction work, such as replacing cracked sidewalk or worn driveways."

"Edgar Gallard was fabulous!! We wanted a bathroom remodel including tear out bathtub and build new shower. Edgar handled the whole project and did a great job. I picked out marble tile that was large 12 x 24 inch and needed a wall that was straight and at 90 degrees, of which Edgar had to build and did a great job. We had small problems along the way and Edgar always helped with the solutions and let us know about the options. Very great outcome and we are very happy!!"

"When the people arrived for this stucco work, I discovered that unknowingly, I had used this company for another package special I previously purchased: "$1,499 for a General Contractor for a Week." As a result of this, I expected the same degree of professionalism and quality of work as I had received then. Unfortunately, according to the contractor,  the package didn't say what was meant: "$299 for 1 Day of Exterior Stucco/Plaster Repair or Installation!" I was told that it meant 8 hours of labor divided among the number of stucco workers. In this case that mean the contractor plus 2 workers, or approximately 2⅔ hours each. Because the stucco requires the initial coating, letting it dry, and returning for a finishing coat, that would mean approximately 1⅓ for each part of the process ... PER PERSON. I highlight that per person, because in no way did I receive the work of 3 people for those amounts of time. If I received the amount for just one person, I would say at least I received some measure of value. Unfortunately, I can not say that. The number of hairline and larger cracks that were "repaired" could not have taken even one person 2⅔ hours of their time.  I had asked this contractor to give me a bid for several other projects, which he gave, but after the stucco experience I decided not to use his services again. This in no way invalidates the high quality and expert craftsmanship I received from other work he has performed for me. I believe this particular offer and its mis-statement caused him a lot of unhappy customers, and that dissatisfaction was reflected in the work he performed for me, thus creating yet another unhappy customer.

I recieved a call from Albert today. It was very unprofessional. Rather than talking to me about what he can do to fix things, he started complaining to me and making excuses. He was blaming me for this negative report.

He was stellar as a general contractor but his stucco work isnt as great.
