"I got the $99 Big Deal from Action Roofing in Des Moines. They told me I needed to replace my roof after a "roof tune-up". So, naturally, I got a second opinion from a source that I trust. After a second opinion I found out that I actually have several years left on my roof and my situation is not nearly as dire as Action Roofing suggested. Additionally, they put some tar on my roof that my trusted roofer said is a no-no. Not completely honest, and evidently, what they are doing is not helpful. They took advantage of my roof naivete and they shouldn't be a trusted provider on Angie's list."

"The staff arrived sometime after 8:30 a.m., but I had to leave the door open and unlocked for them since I had to leave for work. Next time, I will be sure to work with them on a better way to let them in in the morning.  I received an email from Jennifer letting me know the cleaners had arrived and that they wanted to clarify what we wanted done to ensure we stayed within our estimated cost, which I greatly appreciated.  This is likely the reason why the remaining bedroom upstairs was not done, but the door was left closed so we knew that it had not been done.  We had guests staying with us that weekend, and in that room, so it would have been preferable to have had it done and paid for the time to get it done.  However, everyone at Clean-it was professional and communicated very well with me, so had I clarified better, I am confident it would have been done. Customer service is of the utmost importance to them at every stage of the clean--before, during, and after.  I always receive a follow up phone call and/or email from Jennifer asking if I was satisfied with the clean before receiving the invoice.  I find this to be very consistent with their business model--they put the client's satisfaction first and continue to monitor their performance to ensure a good relationship.  They are professional and communicate often.  I would highly recommend to anyone. <br />"

"We went with this provider to power-wash and stain our deck and unfortunately, would not recommend or use them again. In a nutshell, while it looks okay in the end (they didn't power-wash or stain a footer that is able to be seen) and the cost was reasonable, the process was onerous and untimely. Completion of the project was 6 weeks after the provider originally estimated the project would take place. And, though, the provider kept stating delays were due to weather and projects ahead of us in-line, it seems highly suspicious given the significant delay. It felt like we had to continually email them in order for any work to be done. Additionally, the provider initially stated the project length of time would be over the course of a few days from start to finish, but our deck was out of commission for a good portion of the summer since the communication on when/if any work was getting done was poor causing the chairs, table and grill we like to use often to be stacked elsewhere awaiting work to be finished. <br />"
