"Jesse came out to view project and give a quote. He was on time and very helpful. He checked our water main for pressure and found a small leak at one of the joints. He was able to tighten the joint and the leak stopped. He replaced the cartridge in the bathroom sink and was able to reattach the handle. He was efficient and professional. Pricing was reasonable. He tightened the piping to stop the leak rather than pushing for me to replace the joint at this point. If it does continue to leak I will have Guardian replace it for us."

If everything looked good, he said they would not need to drill into the wall. That specific plan was the main reason I chose Sheldon s over the other company. For this, he quoted $3,898 (including a discount). I felt it was high but agreed, in part because he also offered a payment plan and said there would be no interest. Based on this understanding, I signed the estimate. The next day, shortly after starting work, he called me outside and showed me my metal shut-off valve. It was a round wheel handle you turn to open or close off the water. He said replacing it would cost an additional $1,200.
