"I called and talked with Dustin (sales rep) with Signature Exteriors in July 2019. He met with me at my house so we could discuss the water leak problem. He provided me a written estimate with pictures via email. Jason (installer) arrived on a predetermined date. We discussed the work to be done before he started. He did an excellent job of methodically removing the siding, sealing the windows, replacing the wood beneath the four large windows, and reinstalling the siding. He was professional and very receptive to my questions. I am very satisfied with the entire experience from beginning to end. I would definitely use Signature Exteriors for any future siding work."

"<p>I highly recommend ABC Seamless Steel Siding - the owners and especially Brad Kennedy and his installation crew.  Over five years later, our siding still looks good as new (except where Mediacom drilled holes in it without authorization and left them visible --ah but that needs to go under a Mediacom review!)</p> <p><br /></p> <p>In August 2010, the defective Colorlock siding on our home needed replacing.  After some research, steel siding seemed a good option.  I was sure of that after ABC's owner Dale Oyer Sr came out to explain the advantages of their durable seamless steel siding, the lifetime warranty, showed me samples and wrote up the firm (no surprises later!) contract.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Brad Kennedy and his excellent crew were always professional, timely (showing up as scheduled for a full day of work), obviously experienced (like a well oiled machine of efficiency) and provided the beautiful result promised.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Though ultimately unnecessary, I appreciated that Dale Oyer Jr came by a few times to access the progress of the crew.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Call them -- you won't be disappointed!        </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I would highly recommend Jacob and JG Carpentry. First off, he responded quickly to my email inquiry and came out to take measurements the next day. I was impressed when he came out, he brought my specifications (printed out) and some photos of past work similar to what I was wanting. He got a detailed quote to me shortly after that (it was maybe just a day or two). He completed the cases in about 2 weeks (as he'd promised) and came and installed them in just a couple hours. When he and his helpers were installing, they were professional, prompt, and clean.  <br /> On top of their being great to work with, the quality of the cases is exceptional. The house is old and uneven, but Jacob fiddled and shimmed until everything fit perfectly and looks totally professional. I had told him I would do the caulking and sanding to save a bit of money, so that wasn't included in his price estimate, but he even did some of that for me (especially up high) to save me the trouble. The attention to detail really shows.  <br /> The cost was very reasonable, and he even came in 50 dollars under what he had originally quoted me. If you are thinking of installing shelving of any sort, skip the very costly cabinet places and check out these guys. The quality if just as good and you'll save a bunch. <br /> I quoted the job out to six different contractors, and I'm so glad I went with these guys. Excellent work! <br />"

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"The timing and coordination were perfect between CSG and JBR and allowed me to have the fascia boards painted, while getting new gutters. The job site was neat and organized. The installation looks great and they function well. We are very pleased."

"Yusuf helped me out with a hail claim. He came through with everything he said he could do. He is very honest and reliable. I would recommend him 1000%. I got a new roof for almost nothing to pay on my part. He is currently helping me get my fence replaced after the recent storm. I would recommend him to my family. He was a God send when I needed help."

"I went to the store location and picked out my new storm door. The service was great and gained a great deal of knowledge about storm doors. I made my selection and they ordered the door and installed the new door within 10 days. I felt that was great. The install was very professional and looks really nice. I am very pleased with the company as a whole. <br />"

"The store had a list of contractors who could install them, but I immediately thought of calling TrueSon Exteriors, who did our exterior renovations a few years ago. We got a reasonable quote from the owner, Barry Roewe, and he even had the doors picked up at the store for half of what the store would have charged to deliver them. His crew of two had them installed in a little over two hours, and they did a very good job. We would definitely recommend TrueSon Exteriors for your home renovation needs."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Columbia, MO

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
