"It went well. The only thing he wasn't able to assist me with was removing old garage door weather seal and installing the new seal I had bought. He had never done it before and admitted he wasn't too sure about how to deal with the door's structure in accomplishing this job. He suggested I call someone who deals with garage doors more.
I took the advice of other reviews and had a to-do list ready. I listed more than I knew he had time for and prioritized them so that I could use the full 2 hrs productively.

"Bob Gray was very prompt in contacting me and seemed very knowledgeable in what was causing the problem in my basement. He came over to give me an estimate and was the first one to suggest doing what I wanted done which was to correct the problem fron the outside.  Being that my house is about 60 years old and in an area with many large trees they found the drain tiles around the house were completely packed with clay! Unfortunately also were the tiles under my house! After replacing the drain tiles, all the water that would come up in my basement was now going were it should, through the drain system.
Because of these clogged tiles, whenever it rained, my basement and garage would flood because the water had no where to go. Now when it rains my basement and garage are bone dry!
So thankful I joined Angie's List and found them. The crew was great and worked many long days in that August heat to get the job done. I would definately recomend them to all of my friends!

9/8/2014- GARAGE AND HOME STILL LEAKING AFTER NEW ROOF INSTALLATION.

10/01/2014 - Garage and home was repaired by another company sent in by A-1 Roofing. I would state the A_1Roofing did correct their mistake, however clients should not have to go through this. Hopefully a lesson was learn regarding being tactful and repectfully to clients."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.

"Amanda was really very good!  At first I was very skeptical, thinking why did I pay money to just speak with someone on the phone about my kitchen remodel project... but after just a few minutes of her addressing some of the issues/questions I emailed to her earlier, I knew it was worth it.  It was very clear that she knew her business and she gave me several ideas that I had not even thought about.  I told her that I would definitely recommend her to friends and I will very likely use her again myself for my next home project!
