"Scott was a bit delayed in getting to my house, but reportedly it was beyond his control and he did call to advise me of the delay.
He surveyed the project and brought his equipment into the house being careful to protect the marble floor in the foyer.
Scott removed the coverings of the registers and simultaneously fed a rotating brush and a vacuum hose into the ducts to remove the debris.  Several tubes and wires were necessary to connect the equipment and there was a potential trip hazard, so I was careful while observing his work.  He installed a new furnace filter (4 inch) that I  provided and tested the HVAC system.
Scott did  not remove the covers from two supply registers that were in a ceiling about 20 feet above the floor.  He dusted them with air pressure from a distance of about 8 feet.
Dryer vent duct cleaning was done from the exterior in a manner similar to the other ducts.
Before leaving, Scott showed me the debris collected.  It was about 2-3 pounds of mostly dust-like particles.
Overall project took about  2 hours.
