"I used Sila Heating Cooling and Plumbing service a few weeks ago because my HVAC system was giving me trouble. This was during the start of the heat wave and for some reason outside unit/condenser unit stopped working. The Inside unit was still working/blowing, but the condenser did not work. I called up Sila and they were able to send someone out right away. There was a program deal, so the charge to send someone out to inspect the problem was reduced to $79.00. Tyler Brawner was the technician they send out to inspect my unit. He not only found the issue, which was a worn out capacitor that needed to be replace. He clean the unit, and checked on my inside unit to make sure it was cooling properly. Tyler was a great tech who was transparent enough too discussed and guided me through everything he was doing, and provide me with some at home maintenance tips for my system. It’s about one month now and the unit is running as normal. Everything all together cost $313.37, I will definitely use their company again, check back with them close to winter to inspect the heating portion of the system."

"Ivan, from It's Phenomenal Air Heating and Cooling, was great. He was very professional and patient when answering our questions prior to accepting his quote to do the work. And additional bonus is that he recommended the Goodman A/C and heating systems, which get very good reviews and are not overly expensive. On the day of installation, he was very thorough and made sure the work was done properly. He also followed up with emails and made an additional visit to check the humidity levels in the house. "Within an hour of purchasing the advertised special, Henry from B A R called us to set up an appointment for service. He seemed knowledgeable and showed up promptly to our appointed time. After working on the unit for about an hour he determined that the unit had died and there was no hope reviving it - it was 14 years old after all. WIthin a few days Henry was back and installed our new unit. Around the time he installed our unit, our second unit died. We had him replace it as well. The work was done in a timely manner and we have been completely satisfied. We would definitely hire B A R Appliances again for our HVAC needs."

"Promptly returned email regarding service request, on Saturday. Responded same day to repair 2Ton Geo unit (Waterfurnace). Extremely knowable on geo-thermal systems, the repairs were made in timely manner at a fair price, my only regret on this geo unit is I should have had Continental install the system in the first place, it’s seems very likely I would not be haveing the maintenance issues."

"Their Salesman was early to our appointment, which was good. He promptly put on the plastic booties to keep boot crud off of my floors (also good). After he looked at the boiler, tank and surrounding piping he consulted his ipad and gave a detailed estimate. He took the time to explain each item and how any changes would affect the total cost.
After taking several estimates I called amazing to do the work and they sent their chief engineer and owner to do a final survey. I scheduled a date and their workmen were ringing my bell at the exact time scheduled (0730). It took longer that they expected to remove the old tank and had to return the next day to complete the install. They even ran new thermostat wire since my old 1930s era wiring didn't support the modern equipment they installed. When the work was finished I authorized the final 2/3 of the payment (having paid 1/3 in the beginning) The amount was as quoted, even though they experienced unexpected difficulties. This is fantastic! I have an old Baltimore dutch colonial style home built in 1928. I constantly have issues with contractors saying they have experience with old homes and then wanting to jack up the price when they encounter some thing they didn't expect. If you're as experienced as you say add it to the estimate! I'm a grown up I can understand contingency costs! Amazing proved that they were every bit as experienced as they claim and I will now use them for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

"These guys do a great job. They're friendly, professional and their prices are reasonable. A drop cloth was placed on the floor in the basement where the work was being performed in order to prevent a mess. They came same day and when they weren't able to repair the issue, promptly came back the next morning to resolve it. We would highly recommend them and definitely consider using them again in the future."

" I called American Home Services for the remediation of mold in the basement (3 bedrooms, a family room, and 1 bathroom) of my home. Kurt Randell, the President of AHS, came for a free estimate. Kurt is a master of his trade: he is very knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and sensitive to the client's needs. No pressure and no scare tactics. I was concerned about the chemicals used, and Kurt addressed that concern by telling me that he would send me information about the two chemicals that he uses, - Benefect and Shockwave - and I could decide which one I wanted as late as the day of the job. (I chose Benefect.) I received the estimate within 24 hours, and the price was reasonable. We set up a time that was convenient for me. Kurt's workmen, Jeff and Seth, are professional, courteous, and extremely responsive. They did a very thorough job. They removed and discarded all contaminated items from the property (carpet, padding, tack strips, furniture, books, etc.), the contaminated lower part of the drywall in 2 rooms (a larger area than that which was included in the estimate - at no additional cost), and the contaminated back half of the bathroom ceiling. They hauled away all the contaminated items in their truck, - a real feat, because on the first day of the job we had a constant, driving rain. Jeff and Seth helped me determine if a given item could be cleaned, or had to be trashed. When I indicated that I would like to keep certain memorabilia, they put them aside and cleaned them, item by item. Jeff and Seth bio-washed the entire contaminated area with Benefect, and treated exposed wires, vents, and piping with an EPA fungicide. Finally, they applied an EPA registered anti-microbial encapsulation to the treated area. On the second day of the job (which lasted 3 days), Kurt had already lined up several contractors (waterproofing, drywall build-back, and tile floor), that I would need following the mold remediation. This was tremendously helpful, because it saved me the time and effort of having to interview and co-ordinate the various workmen. When the job was done, Jeff and Seth cleaned the basement meticulously. Following the mold remediation, Kurt did an air quality test, and sent it to a microbial consulting lab. The result of the test: I now have a mold-free home. I give AHS the highest possible recommendation. Kurt, Jeff, and Seth did an amazing job, and, if the need arises, I would want no other company. I will definitely recommend AHS to family members and friends.
