The project was advertised as a complete solution to address foundation wall deterioration and structural support. What happened: The contract and engineered plans explicitly called for cast-in-place (CIP) footings for each I-beam and a vapor barrier. I paid for these as part of the $70,000 project. After the work was completed, I discovered the CIP footings, vapor barrier, and other items were not installed, despite being billed and included in the plans.
