"We just used Rescue Air this week and today(Sunday) to get our ac service work and recharge. The company representatives were Marianne through the office and Roman was our tech. He was very professional and felt like he was upfront with his recommendations and preparing for our longterm needs. He gave us great information about the options available and shared the company basics about their size, location, and financing options when we are ready to move forward with our new system. Will be using them again as they value our business and provided excellent service"

"Let me just tell you that the owner, DAVID, is dishonest. The FIRST time something bad happened, one of his guys fell through our ceiling. THAT he was kind enough to fix. THEN one of his guys put a pan in wrong, caused ALL THIS WATER DAMAGE, so much our ceiling caved in....he came out and SAID he would fix it, but did he? NOPE RADIO SILENCE. These guys do not know what they are doing, and the owner DOESN'T CARE."

"AAC is not just a family business, it's the family! They contacted me right away after my search on Angi to set up an appointment. Joe (the son) came out the next day and knew exactly what was wrong with our "vintage" 6-burner Viking cooktop (4 of the burners would not ignite). He ordered the parts and came back with his father, Don (the co-owner with his brother), and they fixed it. Since we moved into the house 15 years ago, 2 of the burners never ignited and a previous repairman had no idea what was wrong. Joe is super knowledgeable about various kitchen appliances, having worked for several different companies over the years. He was nice, helpful and professional. I am very pleased and highly recommend AAC! I would definitely use their services again. "

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Coppell, TX

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
