We searched for someone that could do a complete installaAon of a new bathroom in our completely guCed space that used to be a bathroom many years ago. Most people we consulted with only was interested in dealing with the shower/tub part and not with updaAng the rest of the room. That was unAl we had C. Michaels stop over and take a look at what we wanted and needed. It was an easy process selecAng the design items for the new shower stall and going over all the other updates including new plumbing, electrical and floors. In our conversaAon, it would in our best interest to update our upstairs bathroom at the same Ame. It was a bit of a wait All the work got started but that gave us plenty of Ame to get the other material needed for them to install. As promised, Daren and crew arrived on Ame and immediately started puPng it all together…everyday! To our surprise, we were amazed just how much work they would accomplish in one day. "Arrived on time for free estimate.  It took about five weeks for the custom windows to be manufactured. Arrived on time for installation.  Completed job in two days.  Windows are well designed (tip in for cleaning, great for second and third floor.)  Neat and effective caulking, no draft around the windows, important for cold winter.  Careful around floor and furniture ( you have to remove window treatments and clear the area around windows for them to work.)  Cleaned up all their debris as well as old windows and hauled it off.  Pleasant salesman and installers.  They're replacing another 11 windows this summer! <br />"

"It was 4 PM on a Friday night.  My husband was replacing the wax ring on a basement commode, when suddenly a pipe protruding from the wall broke off in his hands, spraying him and the entire bathroom with a shower of cold, clean (thank goodness) water.  We quickly turned off the main water supply (since the specific turn offs leading to that bathroom wouldn't BUDGE!) and got onto Angie's list.   Called the first "all A-rated" plumber/handyman, and, lucky for us, that turned out to be Darrell.  He had just finished up a long week's work, and although he had never had any dealings with us previously, agreed to rescue us from a waterless week-end. ( Remember it was late Friday, PLUS he lives in Endicott and we are located up in Chenango Bridge.) <br /> He arrived, smiling and friendly, within the hour, expertly sized up and resolved the situation, and was soon finished, much to our relief and gratitude.  As he left, we chatted about our families and got to know one another a bit.  We waved as he drove away, and almost had the urge to ask, "Who was that masked man?", the way the townsfolk always did after being rescued by the Lone Ranger. <br /> His 40-someodd years of experience certainly paid off for us, and we have already asked him to return to help us with other things around the house.  He really knows what he's doing.  We feel so grateful to have found someone who would put himself out to help strangers in need, even ON a Friday night. <br />"
