The estimate was filled with pages of dramatic health claims that, to me, came across as fear tactics rather than professional guidance. When I asked questions, the owner was extremely rude and dismissive on the phone. The whole thing felt pushy and uncomfortable. After leaving an honest review, things escalated in a way that shocked me. The owner contacted me and offered a refund only if I signed a notarized disclaimer that he drafted. I personally found that very unusual, and I chose not to sign anything. What concerned me even more was what happened next: after I declined to sign the document, a negative review suddenly appeared online about my wife’s business — at our home address — claiming she had done work for him and stolen $600 from him. In my experience, this was completely untrue. My wife has never worked for him in any capacity. In my personal opinion, it felt retaliatory and deeply unprofessional. I ended up getting several second opinions from other mold professionals, all of whom felt the quote I received was excessive for what was found. Based on my experience with the customer service, the tone of the estimate, and the way things unfolded afterward, I would strongly recommend that other homeowners get multiple quotes before agreeing to anything.
