"When I called to get a quote, they gave me their bottom line right away. This is the second windshield that they replaced for me. The first time, they also gave me their bottom line price. At that time I had also called a large national chain whose ads are on TV. They gave me a high price and then lowered it (to nearly the Complete price) when they learned that I would be (had) calling other contractors. <br /> Complete came out to my house to do the replacement. They came on time and completed the work in just over an hour. The service technician was personable, polite, responsive and knowledgeable. The technician had many years of experience and took pride in his work. <br /> We are pleased. "From first meeting with Ramiro in our driveway to the cleanup after a quick and efficient job, the Rodriguez company excelled. Ramiro and his partner, Craig, were working right along with their crew for most of the time, giving us confidence that everything was done as promised and in the best ways possible. Except for coming up a bit short on shingles, they could have gotten the job done in one day -- a remarkable accomplishment given that we had two layers to be removed -- but they finished the next day thanks to putting a large and efficient crew on the job. Ramiro was very good about getting back to me with any concerns I had, including discussing which type of valley to use (we went with the metal valley) and assurances that the new ridge vent and ample ice and water shielding would help minimize our winter icing problems. Amazingly, they removed the satellite disk and replaced it in exactly the same holes so that it worked immediately -- no need for an additional service call for that. And there were extras that were neither planned nor charged for, such as replacing delaminated sheathing and wood walls on the chimney box with new flashings. With a long warranty and many years of experience doing this work in our community, we're sure that the Rodriguez company will be there to deliver just as well if ever a problem develops with this roof. We're pleased and proud to recommend this company for its reliable performance, quickly responsive, does professional quality work at a fair price and then tries to do more on the job to make you completely happy with the results."

"I liked the company's unpretentious style. They gave me a presentation about their windows at my house but did not "high-pressure sales me" after. I knew I could call my sales representative with questions and visit their showroom, both of which I did. I was excited to learn that their slider windows that I wanted, could be opened from the inside to clean. I did not find any other company whose sliders could do that. I was very impressed with the installation crew. They were hard-working, knowledgeable and personable/friendly. With their 3 person crew, they were able to complete the installation in one day. The communication from the company could have been better. I was a bit frustrated with how the scheduling of the installation was handled. Initially, I was given the days during which my project would be completed. It was getting close to that time so I called them to confirm. I was told that my project would be scheduled 2-3 weeks later. This was a bit frustrating...not because it had to be rescheduled but because I was not kept in the loop regarding the change. Also, a phone call from them after the installation to check-in with me would have been nice. Overall, I am very happy with the windows. They appear to be well built and are beautiful. Their price was lower than another company whose windows were of similar quality."

"This was easily the best experience we've had with the numerous maintenance and improvement projects we've had to do on our house since we bought it 4 years ago. It was a pleasure to work with Ryan. He is extremely knowledgeable, very straightforward, and very good about answering questions. He was quick to respond to questions both before and during the work, and his workers are very competent and professional. The carpenter who installed the windows did the work in three days and the results are perfect -- secure fit and beautiful workmanship. As an added benefit, the new windows are sized for the original openings in the framing of the house and provide much more light than the previous replacement windows. When the siding crew began work, they worked very methodically and steadily and finished the entire project on our large tri-level in exactly two weeks. The work is top-notch -- it looks beautiful and they were diligent about critical details like flashing and caulking. The gutter crew arrived a few days later and also did a great job. We chose Ralston Exteriors based on the recommendation of a relative who'd had siding work done by them a few years ago and we would also enthusiastically recommend the company to anyone who's looking for new windows and siding. We will definitely use them again when the time comes to replace the roof."

"I knew I wanted my house resided and I knew that I needed new windows but my heart, my head, and my wallet were having a bitter argument about what that looked like. I wanted to keep the original cedar siding and the original windows on my 100 year old home but there would be lead paint mitigation and nothing I could do to those windows would make them more energy efficient. Also, my taste in materials was pretty expensive. <br /> I had a number of quotes for the work I wanted done. While Leon's wasn't the cheapest, they were the most prompt and trustworthy of the bunch. Jason (owner, son of Leon) talked me through a lot of options and costs with patience and good nature. He provided his insight and opinion and always tried to steer me to the best value instead of just allowing me to default to the most expensive. I never felt "talked down to" as I did with some of the other companies that came to consult on the project. <br /> Of course, it took me almost a year to pull the  trigger and schedule the work. When I finally called Jason to schedule the job, I expected him to have to re-quote the work but he stood by the original quote, which really surprised me. Because of his workload, he wanted to schedule the work a couple of months out, which was fine with me. I was in no hurry. Then as we came up on the month that the work was supposed to start, he called and asked if it would be okay to delay my job until he was finished with a large job that was taking longer than expected. Again, I didn't care so we moved the start date. That date held and the work started on time and progressed exactly as planned.  <br /> As with any 100 year old house, there were some surprises. Carpenter ant damage that resulted in some repair work and water damage that resulted in the rebuilding of two flat roofs. Jason's foreman, Kim, took all this in stride. They did incredible work - fast, efficient, and quality (even to my untrained eye) - and communicated everything along the way. I was never surprised by additional costs or time added to the job.  <br /> The team of guys that worked on the house were all professional and good-natured. My retired neighbor even commented that, even though he could hear them chatting all day long, he never once heard them curse. That's pretty impressive from a construction crew! They were respectful of my property and went out of their way to either work around plants or let me know that the plants were going to be impacted. They cleaned up after themselves every single day and left their equipment neatly stacked so that it was out of the way. In the end, you would have barely known that they'd been there. <br /> They subcontracted the gutter work and the person who came to do that was equally as professional and did a great job.  <br /> I can't recommend Leon's Roofing and Siding enough. Their strength is their communication and the care they put into their work. They'll be back next summer to do some more work for me and, at some point, there's a roof that'll need repair, I expect. <br />"
