"We were in the unfortunate position of needing to replace two HVAC units in our home at the same time. We learned that our son is sensitive to mold and found that our existing units, which were 15 years old, had mold in the plenum. We reached out to five local A/C businesses in efforts to find a person or company we felt comfortable with who would install two new, trustworthy HVACs with a filtration system to combat mold. Adam at Cool Tech was the last person we met with of the five businesses, and ultimately the one who earned our trust. Where some of the companies saw an opportunity to add lots of extra bells and whistles (because of our son's sensitivity), Adam was honest and straightforward about what was necessary and what was not. "Paid $75 Deductible through American Homeshield to sub contract Me.Rooter Plumbing Scam: Martin, with Mr. Rooter arrived & used a camera underneath the home to try & diagnose the leak issue in the laundry room. He didn't do anything else to figure out the cause of the leak. His repair quote was for $8,500 & when he was told that seemed high for the repair, he said the best he could do it for was $6,500. He immediately referred a water damage company to access the damage at no charge. That company said water damage was $2,200. We called another reputable plumber to get a second opinion & they immediately identified a cracked pipe in the P Trap and repaired all for $201. They also stated there was no major water damage. MR. Rooter conducted unethical business practices & provided fraudulent information"
