"I have been so psyched to say amazing things about Rob and his crew and I was trying to find the right words to say it, so for awhile, I held out on writing any reviews. In short, 3 floors of my house flooded and left unaddressed for a week and a half since we are homeowners who don't know a thing about mold growth. He has a great personality and is super pleasant to work with, he gives you your space, and takes care of *everything,* including moving furniture (and putting it all back!) and the removal of the little dumpster you will probably need if moldy pieces of your house are going to be tossed in the trash. In my case, we learned there was a hole in the floor, so he and his guys took care of that too (pictured). I never wanted to have a flood that damaged walls, floors, and insulation, but it made me meet the 914Mold guys so it was worth it. They are just great to work with. You can't go wrong with these dudes."

"We are moving into an older house with asbestos covering on the pipes. A representative from JBH came in for an estimate and gave us a very accurate idea of the overall cost. Something that we were not able to confirm at the time of the removal...we were told this was a family-owned business and that someone from the family would come in to do the removal. Neither of the men who showed up introduced themselves as part of the family... The men from JBH showed up on time (very polite guys), removed all the asbestos, and then brought us down to show the work they had done. We were supposed to bring in an independent contractor for air monitoring, but the people we reached out to never returned our calls (they'll get their OWN review on Angie's List). In all the craziness of our move, we forgot that we never actually booked an air monitering company. We called JBH the day of the scheduled removal to let them know about the situation and to see if we should reschedule - they ended up calling someone in on our behalf to do the monitering. Not the ideal scenario, but it was great that they did the extra legwork with practically no notice. We did have to call JBH ourselves to follow up on the air testing results, which was the one downside."

More importantly there was one glitch when the initial crew failed to follow one item in the mold tester's scope of work. The way companies handle unforeseen problems says a lot - sometimes you get the runaround and things go south. That didn't happen here.
