But once I called them for something, they said the appt process through Angie's list does not work and the $59 is only for changing the filter or something silly like that and I had to upgrade to the $89. But for the $89, the guy did spend time with me explaining what is wrong and if its worth fixing or not. So, why advertise as $59 with bunch of details that you won't even perform?"

"I first contacted Valley to get a quote on how much it would cost to get air conditioning installed. I live in an older town home that is approximately 1100 sq. ft. They sent someone out to take a look and see what was involved. He was very professional and explained what was involved including getting permits from the city. He quoted the amount and provided me with an invoice. I contacted them 3 months later to say I was ready for the install. The installation turned out to be quite challenging due to the way my home is constructed, but Valley made it work. The service person had to stay a few hours longer but I wasn't charged anything extra for it. They stuck with the amount of the estimate that was quoted. It's only been a couple of months since the install, but I have to say my only complaint at this point is how cold it gets when I turn on the air. But that's a nice problem to have. :)"
