I thought I had to choose between the high-cost, glossy brochure, licensed & reputable companies OR the cheap, unlicensed, pushy “if you ask for inspections the cost is double” contractors. Arafat quoted a much more reasonable price, gave excellent advice to help us build what would be most useful, never pressured us, and got all the appropriate permits & inspections. We were probably fairly high-maintenance clients, and Arafat was patient and kind, describing options as we went and modifying a ‘normal’ porch set up to reduce pollen so my highly allergic husband & daughters can enjoy the space. We absolutely love our new 3-season porch and pretty much live out here now. I strongly recommend going with Exterior Works for any outdoor project you have in mind."

"Rick and his Before and After Home Improvement “All-Star Team” provided outstanding professional work in replacing the water damaged posts supporting my deck and the design and work to complete a stamped concrete patio, walkway, and front porch. Our property sits on a hill such that water from our neighbor’s yard drains into our own with some of it settling against our house under the deck. The deck was constructed about 20 years ago with part of the wooden posts buried in the ground. Although the wood was pressure treated, over time, the marshy ground had compromised the integrity of the deck support posts. We had contacted several contractors to request proposed estimates. Some were unresponsive. Others would not fully address our concerns about correcting the water drainage and adding additional concrete to anchor the new deck support posts above ground. Rick was by far, the most responsive. He listened to our concerns and based upon his 45+ years of experience, provided several recommendations for correcting the damaged deck posts and the drainage issues on our property. He gave us a prompt and reasonable estimate. His team went to work right away. We were so pleased with the results that we discussed the idea of the patio and walkway. "I needed to replace an old townhouse roof damaged by high winds. My experience with Roofing & More from my first contact with Marie was outstanding. Dwayne came a few days later and provided an estimate, complete explanation of roofing options and company polices, the insurance, license, pamphlets and documents. He also had a crew come out, the next morning, to put up some tarps. Angie keep me completely up-to-date on the project and scheduling, I was never left in the dark wondering about what was happening. Rob, Operations Manager, came out for a pre-construction meeting to explain exactly what and how the crew would perform the replacement, safety methods, home protection, cleanup and photo documentation during construction. On the day the work was performed the amazing hard working crew, led by Armando, worked as prescission drill team, continuously non-stop. They completely cleaned up all material that floated onto my neighbors areas. I did not find any debris that was overlooked. "Last October, we contacted four different Angi-recommended contractors to build a screened porch over the largest of three sections of a 20-year-old deck and to replace the old wood decking with Trex. Peter Leoâ s understanding of our project and honest, transparent approach, along with his very reasonable price quote, inspired our confidence. As we were making our final decision, he readily contacted two of his previous customers so we could visit his completed projects, which further convinced us that we made the right choice.
