"Did not go well. The brief plumbing inspection was something my husband and I do anyway. Turned on faucets and looked under cabinet to see if they leaked. The super deal cost $49 because it included a hot water heater flushing, the only real reason we hired them and paid for the “deal.” When time came to flush the heater, the nice young man said apologetically that they don’t usually flush heaters more than 10 years old because the sediment built up in the tank could cause clogs that they would not be liable for. Ours is 15 years old, so no flushing. I asked the young man to call his boss and tell him I didn’t feel I should pay for the flush that didn’t happen and THAT THE AD FOR THE DEAL DID NOT SPECIFY AGE OF TANK COULD PROHIBIT RISKY FLUSHING. The boss said I still needed to pay for the service call so I had to pay $39 for basically nothing since no flushing took place. The “inspection” took less than 10 minutes and as I said, consisted of turning faucet on and looking at pipe to see if it was dripping. I was taken advantage of by the boss. His ad was misleading or I would never have bought the “deal.” Angie’s List, you need to do a better job of vetting your “deals” to see if they are misleading!"

"A company is judged not by how well things go so much as how thing are handled when things go contrary to planned. I have a 10 year old house and when it was built someone made two mistakes.one they put the sprinkler system on to the water line incorrectly and the sewage pipe had been cracked when installed. All of this resulted I my having water seep through the outside wall. I hired John from Carolina Plumbing to fix the water leak and my husband and I decided to install a whole new waterline. that took care of one of he problems but the water kept seeping through the wall. The owner came back to see the job where it was discovered that the problem was two fold. After some discussion it was determined that no one could have foreseen the two problems but they made the situation right and came back and fixed the broke pipe at no additional cost to us. Now that is what they mean when they saw they do the job right the first time or they make it right. So if you want a company who stands behind their work and cares about the customer you want to definitely give these guys a try. The price was reasonable and the John was quite a conscientious man!!!!"
