"Scott and his team are wonderful. After recently being scammed by a contractor that we hired to remodel my parent's home, I had to quickly find someone who is honest and reliable. I called Illinois Remodeling Consultants and explained our situation to Scott and he was quick to help us. He immediately went over to the property and gave us his honest observations. "Steve and crew did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and making it handicap accessible. My Dad is moving back home with me after recovering from hip surgery and has some mobility challenges so I was needing something a little more than your standard remodel. However, Steve and team were able to come up with the right solution pretty much on their own. The number of and placement of handicap bars is spot on. Other details like the color of tile and layout were decided by Steve and crew, which turned out beautifully. Steve was very flexible working with my schedule and dealing with any changes that came up during the project. He did a great job adjusting to those changes, relaying to his workers what should be done, and coming up with cost-effective and practical solutions where alterations were needed or problems arose. Steve is not only passionate about what he does but when you add in the high quality of workmanship and affordable price together it makes for a very satisfying total experience. The bathroom remodel was completed satisfactorily and within the needed time frame. "Interior painting. Not perfect but a good job. Concerned with final product and made trip back out to complete any unsatisfactory areas. They patched damaged walls and nail holes well. Worked with me on pricing and good communication from owner. They cleaned up well each day before leaving. Good advice on paint colors as well.

If you want very punctual with minimal breaks taken throughout time on job.... This may not be the crew for you. I would recommend they do not use tools to scrape paint off baseboards (mistakes) bc there are places where our wood baseboards were actually damaged. Otherwise, they worked together well to get the job completed and made sure I was happy with job.
