"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!! "I bought the deal for 4hrs/1 person or 2hrs/2 people. However I got 3 people for 1hr 20minutes. It just wasn't enough time unfortunately. The work they did do was very well done and immaculate. They cleaned up everything as they went. It was like the weeds never existed. I asked them to bring a lawn mower but they forgot. The job did not get completed before they had to leave which was disappointing. If they had remembered the mower, I'm sure I would've given them all As. Oh well."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Victoria was amazing. Very easy to work with, quick to respond and efficient. We had an extremely hard time finding a contractor and were hesitant to begin the project but after dealing with Victoria we were so glad we did. we were looking for someone to understand our vision and she made us feed so comfortable. Tri-state Reo Property Management does great work and I would recommend their services and will using them in the future."

"Marcos and his team helped breakdown a boulder that needed to be moved. It was too heavy to move without large equipment, so they split it and moved the pieces into a natural area. Very good price -- there was no way I could have moved it or split it on my own."

"Didn't go so well. The demo crew showed up when they were suppose to but rather than just evaluate the ceiling and replace/repair what was necessary to do the 2 men, who were not extremely fluent in English, started demo on the entire ceiling. When the supervisor arrived much later in the afternoon he nearly flipped his wig because apparently they were specifically told to only remove what was necessary ~ as I don't speak any Spanish I didn't have any way to communicate with them as they did the work. The work order sheet I had in my hand stated clearly, "demo ceiling". After tearing down the ceiling and 2 walls, they said to me, "you'll have to use your other bathroom." What other bathroom? I have only 1! What was suppose to be a 3 day job turned into a 3 week nightmare as I was unable to take more time off of work and they were limited to the hours I could be there. The mess was unbelievable and beyond anything you might have planned for. While Greenwich Handyman did do their best after the fact they were hard to reach and had nothing more to say other than something like, "wow, we should have paid more attention to make sure he understood what to do." I really do have to say that they worked hard to make it right after the disaster of the start but ultimately no, I can't recommend them without reservation. The crews they sent in after the demo crew were all wonderful.

"Very clean, professional, reliable and caring. East Coast contracting solutions exceeded my every expectation. Initially, I contacted them for some simple drywall repair and hardwood floor refinishing after seeing their top shelf work. We discussed future plans for a kitchen remodel just this past fall their contractors completed my kitchen, which is showroom quality perfection! They’re absolute professionalism is top notch above all other contractors I’ve hired in the past! There was never an expectation of payment until the job was complete, and my wife and I were satisfied. They treated my home as if it was their own and kept every job site that they worked on neat and tidy. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate and value their professionalism inside my home East Coast will be the only contractors I hire for future home remodels and handyman type projects I highly recommend, this contractor!"
