"We obtained several opinions and quotes, and decided to go with Mark and his team because they provided several solutions for the issue: 1) Install pipe underground that connected our sump pump output to a pop-up at the bottom of the yard, so that water from the sump pump could no longer saturate the lawn 2) plant topsoil and grass, so that the water had a place to go instead of just washing the mud down the hill, and 3) redo the concrete step at the base of our walkway with a gradient so that water would no longer collect there. All three solutions worked. We have since had two storms and our walkway has remained puddle and mud-free. Furthermore, Mark was very professional. Proactive communication, arrived on-time as expected. Called before he came by. Mark proved to be trustworthy, and followed-through on everything he said he would do. "Mulch and trimming were done right away and looked very nice, although some weeds have sprouted up from the mulched area.



Installation of pavers took 3 months to even begin, but it was done in one day. The constant rain played a part for the delay, but I did feel that the project was on the back burner. We wanted the pavers to match the patio pavers in color. We went with his recommendations. The pavers do not match - appear the same color of cement pavement. Upon inquiry, was told that they had heard that a lot and that it will take a few months and color may change. The installation looks great but we are very disappointed with the color and hope it does change to match the patio. I will respond back in a few months and let you know if pavers did change color.

"David was amazing. I had downspouts and sump pump discharge drainage installed by him in my yard. He ran a drain pipe through my backyard to the end of the property. He also graded to slope all the low points in my yard. I no longer worry when it rains. No more soggy grass and sitting water thanks to him. He arrived early and completed the job within a day. I really appreciate the craftsmanship and the respect for my home. He left the yard better than he found it and cleaned up behind his work. I would 100% use his services again."

"Everything was excellent. The team identified the hole in our pool liner. On the day of replacing the liner, identified a potentially severe issue with the structure of the pool. Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. Once the new pool arrived, they constructed the pool and constructed new outline landscaping around the pool. Chesapeake Recycling had just the right size at a good, competitive price.  I was also concerned about throwing all those asphalt shingles in the landfill. This company recycles building materials, keeping them out of landfills and re-using them for other purposes. My old shingles will be recycled and re-used for something, not sitting in a landfill for thousands of years. Owner JoLynn told me they recycle all sorts of construction materials and other stuff like appliance, and paper from basement clean-outs.  I had never rented a dumpster before, and they made everything easy for me and took a lot of worry off my mind."
