"Jose fixed my 4 pillars out front and fixed the roof on my shed. Love the hardy plank that he used to fix the vinyl siding surrounding 4 pillars. "Two days ago, we had eight windows installed in our home by Guardian Windows. Words cannot express how impressed we are with the windows and more importantly the installation. We were pleased to have such highly skilled and experienced installers. Myself, I am an engineer by occupation, so I was more than just interested in the installation process. With eight large openings in my house, I was concerned not so much with the appearance but what cannot be seen. I was interested specifically in how the installation would address water, air leakage, and the impact to my interior trim. All my questions were not only addressed but they exceeded my expectations. During the installation the Guardian installers found numerous problems with my home. For every window the builder failed to properly attach the interior and exterior trim. Most of the builder window openings were not sealed properly and in several cases the builder windows were not securely nailed. The Guardian installers pointed out each of these problems and then explained how they would make the proper corrections. During the installation furniture in each room was moved as needed. Drop cloths with floor protection and plastic were used extensively throughout. After completing the work in each room, everything was returned as found and the room was vacuumed for added measure. Afterwards we found our home relatively dust free. To be clear there was some dust but considering all the work performed it was easily addressed. After the installation was completed, we were amazed by the fit and finish at each window. The measurement of the installation was so precise that no tile repair, painting, or drywall work was needed. We are so pleased with these eight windows that we immediately arranged for Guardian to have the remaining six windows in our home to be replaced. In closing, while these new windows look amazing, please consider what you don’t see. That’s where the real value is and peace of mind knowing the high-quality windows Guardian windows will be a lasting and sound investment in your home."

Three (3) man painting crew, supervised by Alex, spent three full days on property during some of the hottest temperatures of the year.  Alex, and each of his helpers, arrived first thing Monday morning and went to work washing the surfaces to be painted.  Thirteen years of dirt and grim were washed away to ensure the new paint would properly adhere.  Painting commenced Monday afternoon with the south side of the house completed before the crew left for the day.  Alex and his crew were back at 7:30 AM Tuesday morning.  The east, north, and west side of the house were painted on Tuesday.  Wednesday was spent applying a second coat of paint to ensure complete coverage.  All door handles and locks were taped to keep the paint off and many windows were covered with plastic to ensure no overspray.  All tape and paper was removed upon completion of the work and all trash was picked-up at the end of each day. The completed work confirmed Alex was a professional at his job.  The exterior of the house has never looked better.  I would not hesitate to call Silver Oaks Residential Services for other repair/improvement work I have planned for the future.

"I consulted with Rob to remove some trees and to discuss placing a root barrier at the front of my home.  I have had some cracking inside the house and had been advised to install a root barrier for some oak trees in the front yard.  Rob gave me an estimate for the oak trees but on examining the house and yard said that the trees were quite small to be causing that damage, as well as that the damage was not located where it would be expected if due to the trees.  He placed a call to consult with a local foundation expert including video of the trees and the cracked expansion joint on the side of my house.  At the same time while he was examining the property he recognized that right next to where the foundation damage is occurring, there is a part of the yard that is chronically waterlogged.  Once he pointed it out it was clear that this is the source of the foundation damage, particularly since we've had severe droughts in the last several years but this part of the lawn is usually very wet.  Rob also spoke with the adjacent neighbor on that side about drainage issues in his lawn, as some of the water is coming from the neighbor's irrigation.  The drainage system he installed cost 600$, whereas the root barrier would have been $3,000 and wouldn't have fixed the problem.  So I really feel that Rob's honesty, experience, and thorough evaluation of our problem saved us a ton of money, corrected an issue with the lawn we've had since moving in, and rescued our foundation. 
   The tree removal was great.  All of the work was done in about seven hours, and there was no clutter or mess left.  I will definitely be a repeat customer for landscaping needs in the future."
