"This is a dirty company that is efficient at defrauding your insurance policy. We had a fire at our home and the mitigation team we hired, equally as dirty, brought these guys in to handle our contents. They packed us out in a couple of vans and two trips with a small box truck. When they returned on the first day they showed up with two HUGE moving trucks and multiple vans. They filled our house with hundreds and hundreds of boxes then told us they would be back the next day. That night we began to open up boxes. Box after box was 80% packing material and very very few items for example. One 16"x16" box had a single baseball cap, another had 6 plastic containers you get at Chinese restaurants something most people would throw away, in another scenario a train toy set of my son's left in one box and was returned in 6 boxes. The next day when they returned my wife asked the supervisor why all these boxes were mostly empty. With a straight face she said "well the insurance company pays us per box." Dirtiest part was we told our adjustor who then told them their pack out count had to match the pack in numbers so they provided falsified documents that said they were the same number of boxes. Horrible disgusting company. Stay away."

"It is nice to write a review for a truly good experience during a difficult time. Affordable Water Damage (AWD) was essential to the successful closing of my townhome during a busy Spring home-selling season this year. Steve with AWD was not only able to begin assisting us quickly but was able to connect and coordinate with other contractors for separate projects that we also needed to finish during an unexpected mold and piping issue in my basement. His ability to spot issues, explain the situation in an understandable matter, move on decisions that we made to mitigate, remain in contact, and again coordinate with other contractors so the process kept moving along during a tight time frame was invaluable. Thanks to Steve and AWD not only is the basement done on time for the closing but at a reasonable price point. AWD actually lives up to their name, and then some with the level of professional work done. I highly recommend this company, specifically Steve. He really cared about resolving the issue fully and to our satisfaction. Thank you, AWD!"

"Avoid these people!!!!!! They are the worst. They tell you lie after lie and take forever to do the work. My insurance company called them in even though it was not in my best interest. I regret the day I let them in my front door, and I regret the day I let Allstate insure my house."

"This is a hard review to write as there are 2 different businesses interconnected. I hired ekotrek to remediate my mold. My point man was Dylan Reese, the owner’s son. The EkoTreck part was mediocre. The reconstruction was awful. As a EcoTreck employee Dylan did not return phone calls. EcoTreck knew this and did nothing. They left their construction trash at my mountain home and it took a big pickup truck to haul it away. The contract said they would haul it away. They did not. Several things disappeared, not theft just carelessness. A railing was the most difficult to replace. The cleaning crew, family members, including Dylan’s wife did a bad job. They didn’t get anything higher than they could reach and they put everything back in the wrong place. I still have mold in my house. They collected samples of where we thought there might be mold but they never tested it as promised. Dylan as an EcoTreck employee kept finding suspicious places where mold might be and they tore up more of the house. He claimed he saw water coming in my French doors. Several big storms later I knew that was a lie and I now question the additional work Dylan recommended. I later learned that Dylan had a kick back deal with a general contractor who he highly recommended. EcoTreck also recommended them on their web page. I am highly suspicious that the additional mold that he found truly wasn’t mold, just more money for his GC and him. The recommended GC was beyond horrible and most everything he did needed to be redone. Dylan then formed a separate company, Healthy Contracting, and talked me into having him reconstruct my mountain house. He built up my trust and came to collect money for the work done and for future work. After he collected the check, I never heard from him again. He walked off the job leaving an outside door open in the dead of a mountain winter. He had me make out the checks to his LLC but cashed the checks in his name. He formed a LLC so I couldn’t go after him personally even though he cashed the check personally. He basically stole $10,000 from me. He is a crook and a liar. If you do hire EcoTreck as there are not lot of mold remediation companies out there, I would make absolute sure Dylan has absolutely nothing to do with the project."

"Owner did not send proposal after email and phone inquiry. When I called back he made no effort to correct the situation, gain my business, or act professional. I wouldn't spend my money with this company."
