"They were very prompt. When they started inspecting my dryer duct, they told me that we were very lucky we never had a fire. I was shocked at the amount of lint they cleaned out. The duct was completely clogged from end to end. Considering that I often turned the dryer on just before going to bed, I hate to think of what could have happened. Then did a great job and cleaned up before they left. I did a load of laundry after they left and couldn’t believe how efficient my dryer was. I hate to admit that I never had our dryer vent cleaned but I’ll absolutely have it cleaned regularly from now on."

"We had our decks demolished and rebuilt by another contractor earlier this Summer. Said contractor, in the process, removed significant portions of our vinyl siding and was not able/willing to replace them. I reached out to numerous Boston-area vinyl siding contractors, only to have almost 100% of them tell me the "job was too small" for them to consider. I was becoming concerned that nobody would be willing to replace our siding when I found Diamond Construction. John came out to assess the project and our needs and spent time speaking with us about the scope/execution of the project. We made him aware of our budget, and he was sensitive and responsive to our financial limitations. The work was completed in a professional, workmanlike, timely manner. John and his staff (Erika and the crew) maintained great communication throughout the entire process from the before we even signed the contract all the way through the end of completion. We were extremely pleased with the results of the vinyl siding repair/replacement performed by Diamond and plan to use them again in the future to replace an old bay window in the front of our apartment, as well as our old sliding glass door in back, once our budget permits. "I had gotten very busy and had to reschedule once or twice- they were very flexible and accommodating. Also, they got very busy, they were trying to finish up some outside jobs and The owner explained that it was going to be at least 3 weeks. He let me know right a way if that didn't work for me, they could refund me the cost asap. I appreciated his honesty and his desire not to tie up my money. They came to look at the job, 3-4 weeks after our phone conversation. There were 2 guys- they were thorough as they looked and took some measurements. They were also on the phone with the owner. I told them what I thought and what I was trying to figure out. I was told they would have to get back to me with the estimate and other particulars, and that was fine. My situation changed and I couldn't actually put in the time to deal with such a job regardless of what they told me. But the owner told me the job was bigger than I thought- they could do some repairs, but it wouldn't be sufficient with the amount of damage- and it would definitely take more that 8 hours, probably 3 weeks. I didn't have that kind of time or money, and asked for a refund. I had to go through Angie's list Refund Process, but it was okay and it took a while, but it was done. A week or two later the owner called to see if I got my refund and just to follow up and check in. I really appreciated his follow up. He emphasized that he wanted me to be satisfied either way. That's what I call GREAT Business."

"The 1964 bulkhead I had out back was replaced a year ago, but the wood and insulation underneath (the ceiling of the walkway underground to my basement under the back living room) took in water damage and the area was very musty for years. Tom Morneault of Morneault Environmental was the only guy I could find that would not only treat the wood to remove anything growing on it/get rid of the smell, but his team also removed old wood and insulation and re-insulated for me as part of the deal, which was still hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other companies I talked to, which would only remove the old wood and insulation, they don't put anything back in. Tom's team was here by 8:30 this morning and by 2pm they were done and it looks fantastic and smells crisp and clean. They didn't even stop for breaks or have to make any trips to get supplies, they had them all in the van, including the insulation boards. Very highly recommended if anyone is in the same situation."
